The Screen and Window Shop is a full-service glass shop serving Paradise, Magalia, Chico, and other areas of Butte County. We are a family run business and very active in our local community. We handle residential and commercial installation and servicing of shower doors, screen doors, entry doors, glass, screens and windows. We have over 40 years of experience in improving homes with custom installation. We specialize in vinyl windows, which reduce heating and cooling costs and improve the appearance of your home.
History
Established in 1974.
The Screen Shop was originally established in May 1974 about a block away from our present location @ 7654 Skyway. The business began as a family run business repairing and installing screens. They expanding to screen doors, and manufacturing screens in the late 1970’s.
Don & Dina McSpadden purchased The Screen Shop in May 2000, and began expanding immediately. With Don having over 30 years experience as a licensed Glazier, they transitioned to glass & window installation by 2002. In 2003 we moved to our present location and continue to grow as a local business.
Don & Dina are constantly striving to bring new and innovative products to our local community. We use quality products made in the USA when possible. We work hard to keep business and our dollars in our local communities while providing excellent customer service. We donate our time & dollars towards local causes.
The owners belong to the local Rotary Group, Paradise Chamber of Commerce, and Business Networking Group.

Donald M.
Business Owner
Don has over 40 years experience in the glass, door, screen & window business. He ran a glass shop called Willows Glass with his father from 1971 – 1988 where he learned the trade along with his father, Troy McSpadden, and was able to hone in on his glazing skills.
In 1988 he worked as an agent for Farmers Insurance from 1988 – 2000. In 2000 he purchased The Screen Shop, and has expanded that business since then.
He loves living and being a business owner in our local community, volunteers on a regular basis. Don takes pride in his work and has high expectations for his employees.
