Comfort Inn Paradise

Very clean, very friendly to us and the dog (stays free) free wifi @ 50mb+. And great Chinese restaurant located across parking lot. We have found 2 go-to’s when traveling this way.

We have been here several times now.
It deserves 5 Stars but their decision to keep the M-​F DayShift Front Desk Girl working directly with paying customers doesn’t sit well with me, or my wife. And heard other Customers outside the building complaining about the same front desk girl.
I believe her personality is more suited to Clean Rooms then it is handling the Front Desk. I even asked her how long have you been here? And she snapped back «Quite along time!»
Other than this person the Comfort Inn deserves 5 Stars…

Stay there for 2 nights last weekend. It’s been 2 years since our last stay and it has really change. Lots of meth heads staying there now. We are smokers and every time we went outside to smoke we had to deal with tweakers. Heard all about everybody’s recent jail stays and how many days they had been awake. Every time we would leave the hotel for any length of time we took a bag with our valuables and medications with us. The pool area was small and constantly crowded. People would hang out there all day. Our daughter also stayed there that weekend and realized when she got home she was missing $ 120 from her purse. On our next visit we will stay in Chico. Oh one more thing, the wi-​fi sucks!!!

Clean, but very unprofessional. I had room service come at 9 AM everyday until I asked them to stop. I have never been to a hotel that has room service show up before check out time (typically 10:30−11 am). I tried to explain this concept to the manager and she simply stated that I was wrong. No interest in discussing the issue. I was just wrong. Excuse me, but I’ve traveled the world (literally) and have NEVER been disturbed by room service so early and many times. She was rude even after I called her on it (hello… customer service?). She didn’t care that I was a regular customer (my family lives in town). It was simply backwoods apathy. Bored and boring people working there. I’ll be staying elsewhere…

By far best place to stay in Paradise. I was there about a week when I was visiting a sick family member. They also offer a discount if you are staying because your visiting someone in the Feather River Hospital which was very nice.

Pool was super tiny. We called it a «jellybean pool». But it was awesome because the temp outside was over 100 degrees the whole time we were in town. And the hot tubs jet pressure made it more like a deep soaking tub.

great place to stay, super helpful and friendly staff. Rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast is good but on a busy weekend can fill up fast. They have coffee in lobby all hours of day, which is great to pick up after dinner out.

This hotel is a fabulous find. Tucked outside of town. Quiet! The staff is super courteous and helpful. The little Mexican restaurant they recommended was awesome.
Room was spectacular. Clean and updated. Plenty of hot water!
I did have an issue with the coffee pot, but that was a user issue.
Definitely worth the money!

Great customer service, a descent sized room, nice comp breakfast and very reasonably priced. Would stay here again if in the area.

Before booking I asked the receptionist if the Expedia rate could be beaten because normally that’s what we use. Yes, comparing fees and taxes she could save us $ 15, so we checked in. Then, several days later while looking over my bank charges I noticed the price we were actually charged was not the price we were quoted. Frustrating because I forfeited my Expedia Rewards. The hotel is O.K. for the area.
The internet quit working after about an hour. But overall not happy.

Yesterday we (my 2.5 yo daughter check in) and I get a room 1^st floor right off the start I go into the room to use the bathroom … First the door sticks makes it hard to open then I go use the bathroom and notice the bottom of the tub is really dirty they don’t offer cleaners & a lot of interference with cell service as I’m Verizon! There cable keeps cutting out with no signal, there phones have static issues and that’s to say the least! I’m so frustrated !!!

So I stayed for a week. breakfast is GREAT! Gym is nice, rooms are nice basic cabel goes in and out… I went down to the pool today 6÷7÷2014 and there is sun flower seeds ALL over the place I sat in the hot tub for a few and went back up. other than that A+

Very nice for a comfort inn. After realizing that there is no place to stay we were impressed with the commendations. It’s a great inn if you are passing through. I checked for bugs, critters and other stuff that you might get at an inn but it passed the test. They also take AAA discount which saved us some money.

Very comfortable spacious rooms. Easy to find on your way into Paradise. Limited dining in town but there are some tasty spots close by.
Hotel has most amenities. I do have this one bookmarked for the future.

Why this hotel would have anything but 5stars is beyond me! From the delicious hot breakfast to the super courteous staff. Everything is AWSOME. Wendy stood out in particular. She was so nice and understanding ! The rooms were spacious and super clean. If your looking for a great hotel I highly recommend this one!!!

Seems to be the best option in Paradise but I always leave wondering if we should stay in Chico and drive over to visit family. Perfectly fine place but nothing special. Pool is very small. But this is exactly what they present themselves as so you are getting what is advertised. They do take dogs which is very helpful.

Clean, quiet, good breakfast, nice staff, inside corridors. WiFi is very spotty, dropping frequently and they allow smoking in some rooms so the occasional unpleasant smell of cigarettes can waft by. Pool and jacuzzi are clean as are the common areas and there is a small gym. Microwave and fridge in each room, carpet is newish, some if the furniture is odd, vinyl from the ‘70s but in good shape, beds are firm and seem to be newer. A good place to stay, would have rated it higher; spotty WiFi and cigarette smell are the drawbacks for this very serviceable hotel.

My wife and I enjoyed a two day stay at this Comfort Inn on Clark Rd. in Paradise.
5 stars for the Front Desk Personnel. (They were all so nice and friendly)
4 ½ stars for the morning breakfast and staff preparing the food etc.
3 stars for the housekeeper. It appeared that our king size bed wasn’t quite made up but that was not a big deal. We still left a tip when we checked out.
There is ample parking and again the management and staff should be an example of how we should treat customers.
Thank you and we hope to stay at your Comfort Inn next time we visit our son in Paradise.

Came for the «Choose Chico» weekend and found that all the Chico hotels were booked. Paradise is about 20 minutes away and we were lucky enough to find a room here at the Comfort Inn. The staff were very friendly and helpfull with directions. By the time we checked in I over heard that they too were booked for Saturday night due to a basket ball event in town.
This is an older hotel but well kept. The «pool» was SUPER small. My husband and I got a good laugh. The breakfast room was a little small and didn’t have enough chairs but the food was decent and came included with the price of the room. Egg & cheese omelets, biscuits & Gravy, make your own waffles, instant oatmeal, 3 choices of cereals, juice and milk, fresh fruit and pastries. Oh, yogurts and hard boiled eggs. Something for everyone.
The rooms are older but well kept. Walls a super thin so you kinda hear everything in the halls, upstairs and on either side of the walls. I didn’t like that there was not sink or mirror in the bathroom. I’m an early riser and my family isn’t so I had to wait to get up and get ready which drives me crazy.
I’d stay here again if the rooms in Chico are full again.

Comfort Inn is a clean, attractive, and comfortable place to lay your head at night. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. I stayed here one Saturday night for a bicycling event called the Chico Wildflower. My two roommates and I had a non-​smoking room with two queen beds. There was plenty of room for us and our three bicycles, suitcases and biking gear too. We were very impressed that the hotel accommodated the early start for their cyclists guests by moving the Sunday breakfast start time from 7 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. I would definitely stay here again!

Nice enough service, clean rooms, basic cable and free wireless. Pretty nice overall.
