Business Owner

Mikalia Dyer, IBCLC has been working with new mothers since she became a certified birth doula in 2009 and then a certified childbirth educator in 2010. She has a passion for helping mothers. She graduated from UC San Diego’s Lactation Consultant program and became an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant in 2014.



Mikalia resides in Paradise with her husband and their four children, all of whom were breastfed. Mikalia will tell you that breastfeeding was not always easy, but more than worth it! She had different challenges with each of her children. Her oldest was born at nearly two months premature and had a lot of struggles that they had to overcome. She exclusively pumped and bottle-​fed for nearly the first two months. She came very close to giving up breastfeeding and would have if it hadn’t been for the help of an IBCLC. The help she received is part of what inspired her to become an IBCLC herself.
