O’Reilly Auto Parts

This place is so horrible. Walked in and had to interrupt the guy behind the counter from texting or playing on his phone or whatever. He had a Batman hat on I didn’t even think he worked there until he said «Yeah, what do you need»…
Steer away from this place. I only went there because my car broke down next door or else I would have gone to ANY other auto parts store in the area.

My wife’s car wouldn’t start so I jumped it and was going to take it to get a new battery. She drove it to this location and Sarah tested it and said it was «good» and it had over 11 volts. She said it was the starter and turned my wife away.
I know enough about cars to know that a car with a bad starter wouldn’t start with a simple battery jump. Not to mention 11 volts is virtually dead.
My wife had to go to another store where they actual knew something about cars and wanted to help her.
Shame on poor customer service.
There are plenty of auto parts stores. I will not go back to this one.
Matter of fact she went to another OReily’s store on cave creek and lone mountain and they actual knew how to help out someone with a simple car problem.
