History

Established in 2001.

Doug started his carpet cleaning business in 2001, then called Ironwood Carpet Care, after working for a small local business for a couple of years. At the time, his wife, Tina was employed at a «to-the-trade» floor covering showroom, working with interior designers in their selections for carpets and rugs made from wool, and other specialty fibers. Besides the traditional carpet and upholstery cleaning certifications Doug received, he also went one step further by going through the additional training and certification from Wools of New Zealand, and later, WoolSafe/North America. From there, the business grew steadily by nothing more than word of mouth from very satisfied and loyal clients. Doug and Tina B.

Business Owner

Doug and Tina are transplants from Wisconsin, bringing along a serious work ethic and attention to customer service after long careers working with and servicing customers. Doug was vice president and general manager of his brother’s auto salvage business, and Tina’s background of interior design helped her in her many years of working in floor covering sales. Moving to the Valley in 1999, Tina worked with a reputable floor covering company before moving to the «trade» showrooms. Doug decided a «post retirement» job working with a local floor cleaning and installation business was a good fit.

Doug and Tina are actively involved with their church; Doug devotes much time with Habit for Humanity both locally and on mission trips around the country. Tina has been involved with the teens as a volunteer, and on their mission trips across the country. They have also served at Andre House in Phoenix for several years.

They have 4 children between them, and 3 beautiful granddaughters.
