Gene’s Auto & Truck Service, INC. was opened in 1980 by Gene and Deb Pfahl. They started from a 2 bay shop and have now expanded to 10 bay shop with 6 full time employees.
I’ve taken my Toyotas(2000 Sienna, 2007 Sienna, 1997 Camry, 2007 Avalon) to Gene’s for years. They’ve fixed quite a few things for me in the suspension to the brakes, even fixing a leaky air conditioning coil. They are fast, VERY fair, and explain the repair in detail. It’s a family owned business, which I like. You get to know Gene’s family whenever you stop by, and they are a fun bunch. If you are looking for integrity, know-how, and fair pricing, come to Gene’s. If you want 24×7 service and don’t want to talk to your mechanic, look elsewhere.

We use Gene’s for everything for our vehicles — oil changes, maintenance, alignments, tires, etc. They’ve even ordered replacement parts for us that we could have done through a dealer. The staff is completely trustworthy and we never worry about any of the stereotypical concerns that people have when taking their cars/trucks to a mechanic or one of those $ 20 oil change places. They recently celebrated their 30th anniversary, which is an amazing milestone in this economy and I think it says a lot about the service that they provide. Definitely give them a try — you will be glad you did.

We use Gene’s for all of our«non-scheduled» maintenance. Not that they can’t change our oil and the likes, we just go to the dealership for that. They were VERY helpful(and gave us great deals) with my ’95 Dodge Avenger until it died(through no fault of theirs), and have done some work on our newer Hondas since then. They call if there is something not discussed that comes up in caring for the vehicle, and are always reasonable with their repair costs. My husband loves that they sometimes bring their friendly and very well behaved dog to the office. I would definitely recommend them to anyone-particularly military families new to the area and looking for someone to take care of their vehicles. Gene is retired military, and they’ll treat you like family.
