Established in 1977.

it all started this way, as family caring for family. Carroll and Donna Moore opened the first CarDon community in Greenwood, Ind., in 1977, with the vision to create a better alternative for area seniors. While nothing fancy or grandiose, it was a place for people to live comfortably and be assured of dignified, respectful, and family-​centered care.

Meet the Business Owner

Stephen M.

Business Owner

has served as president and chief executive officer of CarDon since July 2000. Stephen began working with CarDon in June 1996, initially serving as the director of strategic planning then as executive director of Bell Trace in Bloomington. Stephen is board-​certified in preventative medicine and public health and previously board-​certified in internal medicine.
