I just want to start by saying that I have much respect for doctors and their busy schedules, but this doctor could care less about his patients’ time. He overbooks his appointments. I waited over an hour for him to see me in the examination room. During that hour, I spoke with his staff member who was very disrespectful and told me to get back to the room or he will skip over me. Once he entered, he offered no aplogy, did not look at me and told me he has to be surgery in five minutes. At that point I told him I will see another doctor and I walked out. So you have me wait over an hour for my appointment and you want me out of there as fast as possible. This is so unacceptable on many levels. I want to also say that the office is run down, and dirty which I could overlook for good care. Staff is discourteous and smug.

He’s a fantastic doctor, who is very knowledgeable and has years of experience. I had surgery with him years ago and now see him for a separate issue — both of which he has handled expertly.

The office and waiting room were dirty. I was shocked at the mess behind the counter. Boxes of files were EVERYWHERE! As for the doctor himself, I have no doubt he knows what he is doing, but he certainly needs a personality adjustment. I found him rather rude. Not something I want to deal with on top of having a urology problem.

The most horrible experience I had in any doctor’s office. The doctor didn’t do what I asked for. Was very discourteous left me in the examination room for more than 30 minutes without saying where he was gone. When I confronted him about this attitude he told me that I could always see another doctor. Well rest assured Dr. James R. Bollinger I will never see you again!

This is a one-doctor practice that seems to have a lot of patients. I would also tell you that you may need some patience when coming here. When I have had afternoon appointments, it seems I don’t actually get to see the doc until well after my scheduled appointment time(like 30+ minutes beyond). I’ve learned to now schedule my appointments for first thing in the morning to avoid this problem. As for Dr. Bollinger himself, he’s a nice enough guy, but I seem to always have to ask a lot of questions to get information out of him. The staff is always very pleasant. As for the office itself, it’s in an older building and the patient rooms(along with some of the equipment in it) look dated as well. I do like that he’s affiliated with Mainline Health and Paoli Hospital. He’s my third urologist I’ve tried, and I’m happy enough to stick around.
