Originally located in Wayne, PA, today the dealership operates out of Malvern, PA. It is still owned and operated by several key players in the original management and ownership team. Together, StayDog management, sales, technicians, and trainers have more than 100 years of experience. Our knowledge, experience, and wisdom accumulated over the last 35 years of operation has helped the StayDog Team consistently produce the highest quality standards in the industry. History

Established in 1973.

In 1973 the late Richard Peck set out to develop a technology that would keep pets safe in their yards. He worked with the University of Pennsylvania School of Vet Medicine and Battelle Laboratories. His patented invention became the Invisible Fence Brand pet containment system and went nationwide.

The very first Invisible Fence Dealership which was established in 1973 in Wayne, PA is still operating in it’s Malvern, PA location as Invisible Fence by StayDog. It is owned and operated by several key people who were part of the management and ownership of the original corporate group. Bill Annesley and Jeff Hanhausen partnered with John DeHaven and Kelly Cancelmo to form the present owners of StayDog. Together they have the combined experience of over 60 years. To date more than 37,000 local pet owners have installed the system, over 2 million pets nationwide.

Kelly was among one of the first females to graduate from the University of Vermont with a Business Degree in Entrepreneurship. Kelly started as a Pet Management Consultant with Invisible Fence by StayDog in 2004. Her passion and belief in the product lead her to learn all facets of the how the system works including installation and service. A commitment to providing the best in customer service, lead Kelly to open the first Invisible Fence by StayDog boutique/​service center in our office in Wayne. Her expertise in training and her pure love for dogs serves as a great tool in training dogs, specializing in the timid and/​or tough breeds. Her business etiquette and vast knowledge of the Invisible Fence by StayDog system quickly became apparent and she became a partner in 2007. She continued her education at Villanova University where she obtained her Masters in Business Administration with a specialization in Social Media.
