This place is incredible. Such a vast selection of flavors for paletas. Jamaica, coco and cookies and cream are my go to, but they also have limon, mango with chile, melon, guayaba, etc. They also have regular ice cream, nachos, smoothies, chamangos, all of the delicious snacks you can think of. Everything is pretty reasonably priced. There’s only three or four tables with two seats each, but whenever we come we find seating as most people eat their paletas and leave. The woman who I believe is the owner is the sweetest and always treats everyone so kindly. She seems to know everyone and is always happy to be there. My words cannot do this place justice, it is simply incredible. It’s truly a hidden gem.

Hands down! This is the best ice cream I’ve ever tried. Super affordable and they are very friendly. The only thing is that the lady can’t speak english properly that’s why we are having a hard time to communicate but other than she’s friendly and sweet. My family loves their ice cream too.

I am so happy I found this place. Everything is fresh and homemade. The ice cream is delicious and they have numerous flavors as well with the paletas. The aguas frescas are amazing as well. Definitely support this business. Just be patient with the service since if it’s busy you may wait since twice when I have came there was only one lady making the things and on the register.

I will never ever go here again! I went here yesterday and got a chamango, and it was the worst thing ever! It wasn’t even a chamango it was more like water and mango! And I even asked the lady if I could just get a little icecream or anything else and she just kept saying«no» not even a sorry or anything. She was really rude! So now I rather just go to the swap meet that’s a little more up the st!

This is the most amazing homemade only all natural ingredients used to make the best delicious flavors in mexican style ice cream, for just$ 1.99 less than a scoop at any other ice cream shop, you get 2 big scoops of any choice, ie; cookies and cream with real bits of cookies, chocolate; real strawberries, pistachio, I tried the vanilla with coconut it has real bits of shredded coconut in it smooth creamy texture with delicious flavor, lots of great choices in popcicle’s stick to pick from either made of milk or water, my daughter tried the cucumber with chile and lemon it had real cucumber bits, it taste exactly like pepino con limon y chile, great customer service, I will definitely be back soon to try the Aguas fresca.

Located near a strip mall, my best friend and I came here a few years ago. We found this place in an LA trade magazine when we went to Coachella the year before. It’s a different type of ice cream in the flavors which are more exotic. They have regular flavors. I had mango dragon fruit.

I am a big fan of this place. I come here whenever I am in the valley. They have classic Mexican flavors like Queso, Aguacate, Tuna(prickly pear), and pepino con chile. They are made with natural ingredients and are a real treat. I’ve also noticed that they have fruit juices and savory snacks. Every time I come in here someone is having Dorilocos, which I’m not brave enough to try, but they must be a hit because someone is always having them. The woman who runs the store is very nice and the location is always clean. I highly recommend it. :)

I love this place! I wish I had visited this place long ago because I drove by it many times. My sister took me here because of their dessert: Fresh Mexican Popsicles and Homemade Ice Cream. I bought 2 scoops of Queso Ice Cream after I tasted it… It was SOOYUMMY! The best Queso Ice Cream I have ever tasted! And the lady gave me really big scoops of ice cream too. My sister got a scoop of Pistachio Ice cream and a Tamarind Popsicle. I tried the Pistachio Ice Cream and it was delicious as well. Plus, everything was inexpensive! I will definitely come back.

I ordered the mixed fruit popsicle & I don’t regret it, it was delicious. However, for being an ice cream place it was very stuffy and hot inside. I wanted to leave fast.

Oh, how I wish I speak Spanish. We came here, bought a few different popsicles without really knowing what we bought. Because the only person working there did not speak English. But we liked all of them! Especially the spicy ones. I think we had at least spicy Mango, tamarind, Mamey. Will come back here again and hopefully with someone who speaks Spanish, next time.

I live in Northridge, Its quite out of my way compared to my hometown in Santa Maria where there are like 6 paleterias within a 5 mile radius… I’ve tried this place once during the grueling hot SF summer which is when paletas seem more enticing, it was satiating! But like I said before, crossing the 405 to the other side of the valley is not my cup of tea… ATTN: Flor Michoacana, you need to open up a paleteria on the west valley, I’m sure the dollar spending CSU Northridge students will love you for that!!! Hint hint hint!!!

This place has good home-made ice cream, popsicles and my favorite-chocolate covered bananas. They are the best I’ve had in a very very long time. We’ve been here two times now and I think ill be coming as long as I live in the area. It’s a good little place. It’s clean, not loud, the people are friendly and best of all, cheap. It leaves you with a good taste in your mouth and enough money in your pocket to keep coming back. :)

In Spanish, Paleta means Ice pops and a Paleteria is an Ice Pop shop. Well, I discovered Paleteria Y Neveria La Flor Michoacana last month when I was in the area. It’s a good thing I found them, because the weather in the SFV had reached 90 degrees and I really wanted something cool and refreshing to eat. Paleteria Y Neveria La Flor Michoacana makes ice pops and ice creams from scratch. They have an array of tropical fruit selections like guava and mango. They also have familiar favorites made like chocolate and vanilla flavors too. I love the sticky consistency of the ice creams and the juicy ice pops. The prices are extremely reasonable, but you’ll get more bang for your buck with the ice pops. I love the sweet and fruity Strawberries and Cream ice cream. The Pistachio flavor is delightful. The caramel ice cream is incredible. It tastes like the caramel dulce that I eat from a Dulceria(Mexican Candy Shop). The shocker was the Mango Tamarind Ice Pop. The colors are psychedelic and it packs a whopping punch of sweet, sour, and hot. You’ll need plenty water to drink to tame your palate of all the craziness this ice pop has to offer. Paleterias are quite popular in cities that are closer to the California — Mexico border. It’s even better to find a good one in the Los Angeles area. Paleteria Y Neveria La Flor Michoacana is definitely one of those good finds.
