History

Established in 1999.

Sunjammers in Historic St Andrews is our 2^nd location in the Panama City area. We specialize in fishing kayaks from all the top manufactures, Hobie Cat, Wilderness Systems, Perception kayaks, Jackson Kayaks, NuCanoe, Hurricane Kayaks, Old Town Kayaks and Mad River Canoes. We have all the accessories to go along with them for fishing as well as recreational paddling.

We offer car racks from Yakima and Thule as well as storage option from companies like Suspenz Racks.

Sunjammers in Historic St Andrews does NOT sell fishing tackling like our sister store on the west end of Panama City Beach but we do offer lifestyle clothing as well as technical clothing to help keep you on the water longer.

Business Owner

Brad Stephens started sailing the summer of the third grade on a Sunfish sailboat his father borrowed from a friend. He advanced to a Hobie 16 catamaran a few years later and never looked back. When he turned sixteen he started a beach rental service, Stephens Beach Service, renting two Hobie Cats and one Sunfish in Panama City Beach, Florida. In June of 1999 Sunjammers was formed and became an Authorized Hobie Cat Dealer after Brad saw a need for parts for his rental fleet and he saw a regional market demand developing.
