Comcast Service Center

I switched cable companies because Woway consistently nickle and dime customers with hidden charges. I’ve recently learned that Xfinity customer service is terrible as a whole, even though they are a superior cable provider. Xfinity also neglects to tell its customers you’re charged 2.99 for previous seasons of shows like «Chicago Fire» on national broadcasting television once their computer system registers that you’ve watched 10 or more episodes. Here’s the kicker, the computer system finds out what you like to watch and then they charge once your hooked on your favorite shows… I’m hoping Xfinity will change these practices because it’s unfair to their customers. I guess I’m back to square one, being nickel and dimed again… Maybe satellite tv is next on the horizon!

Setting up service was a nightmare and now I have bills coming in that don’t make sense. I’ve had service for 15 days and I’ve already received two bills totaling $ 252…Every time I call them I’m on the phone for 45 minutes listening to bad music while they transfer me around. Just beyond terrible…

Any local can tell you, they are both a joke. Here’s why trying to have cable/​internet in Panama City is always a headache:
Bills– rarely does your statement reflect what you actually owe.
Channel packages you didn’t subscribe to?
Mystery late fees?
What’s that? A modem rental fee?! I OWN MY MODEM!
Spontaneous tripling of charges because «that was a promotion ma’am.» (Though I’ve been assured several times, «this package is not a promotion»…) No joke? how about a friendly «hey were gonna need the other half of that paycheck» notice of some kind?
Customer Service– occasionally you’ll get on the phone with a human who makes you believe, if only for a moment, there is hope.
Don’t be fooled. They are helpless. Kind, but absolutely useless. Assurances and adjustments pacify you for the moment. Other times you spend HOURS in total on hold, being switched, disconnected and ultimately frustrated. I should know, I’ve just spent almost 500 minutes on the phone going back and forth. And on the weekends? Forget it! I couldn’t get past a prompt claiming that in order to“restore service” (service I STILL don’t have), I need do nothing but pay an outstanding balance of over $ 700???
The worst part of all? I ordered a «self install kit» Turns out «someone sent you the wrong package». Understandable. I guess? 2 weeks later, no service still but, alas, what is this in my mailbox?
A BILL? For over $ 70?!? For what?
These guys are CROOKS, no two ways about it! And incompetent crooks at that!
I’m exploring other options, I’ve lived here for years and done the «shuffle» back and forth between these companies and they both lack in consistency.
Thanks for nothing Comcast, I can’t even call and express my disappointment.

High speed cable maybe, but not high speed customer service.
I have waited less time in a busy DMV than this sales center.

Luckily I don’t have to go here often. I’m in the service\retail industry as well, and I know how hard it can be to work in a place like that. However, having to go to the Panama City Comcast is bad enough. Having to deal with their horrible attitudes is even worse. I can somewhat understand being that way with rude people. With me, with a simple fix and making a point that I work in the same industry and that I know how challenging that it can be and understand their pain. They could care less. Their skin is too thick and needs to be reworked. As bad as the DMV is multiply it by 3
