Great Buffett if your looking for all you can eat crab legs. Also had buffet quality steak, shrimp etc. 3 year old was free. 9 year old $ 15. We didn’t think price was bad and on the lower side of what we are used to paying in the Midwest.

Went in an hour before closing, the service was great and the food was fresh. Of course we had crab legs they were big & cooked to perfection! The mac and cheese was also very rich. They had a decent Salad bar and desert bar. I’ll definitely be back. For a buffet style the service was A+(Caleb was our waiter) he was prompt and drinks were filled the whole time and drink orders were spot on.

If you want AYCE crab legs go to captain jack’s. We go here every single time we come to Panama City and we love it. We’ve been coming here for at least the past four years. We eat three plates of crab legs at least. The service is pretty good as well as they always keep your table clean of the mess and your drink full. If you like sweet tea… They have some of the best in PCB. Their crab legs are definitely worth the stop. The dinner buffet is 32.95 plus the drink but if you’re gonna eat crab legs it’s definitely worth it. Their fried shrimp and oysters are good as well. It’s a buffet and it delivers on what it says. What more can you expect? Also: try their blonde for the dessert, it is awesome. Although a little sweet and buttery: it’s perfect.

Everyone goes for the crab legs you will not be disappointed. They had a good flavor, easy to get out of the shell, and delicious. The oysters were lightly battered and were good also. The dinner hour begins at 3:30PM and many were there but no wait time. There is a variety on the full length dessert bar. Each adult plate is $ 32.95 so be prepared to eat up!

The only reason I am not giving this more than 3 stars is because of the price. 30+ dollars per person for the buffet is madness. If you are going to make your buffet that much then the food on said buffet better be worthy of that price. Don’t get me wrong, the crab legs were delicious but there were other items on the buffet that were mediocre. I would say 1⁄3 of the buffet was tasty and the rest was just filler. The baked fish, boiled shrimp, crab salad, those were good. The spaghetti that my son ate did not look appetizing and looked like it had been sitting there for a while. I’ve only had one other buffet here, last time we were at the beach, and that was bishops. This is WAY better than bishops.

Only bad thing was the wait to get a table, but it was worth the wait. The crab legs were plentiful, and every thing else I tried was tasty. Everybody in my group was satisfied.

It will be loud, it will be crowded, and there will be people who jostle and get in your way. But while there are items in the buffet which do not look all that appetizing to me, the main seafood(fish, crab legs, and shrimp) was good and I would go there again despite the crowds of people. The service was just fine and we were in before we knew it even with a crowd waiting in the parking lot.

Best seafood especially the crab legs. The wait time was short about 15 minutes. The staff was professional, polite and attentive. This is a must go restaurant if you love seafood.

Went with my husband and two boys tonight for dinner on our last night of vacation. We had heard that they were pricey, but worth it for crab leg lovers. We were not disappointed… the crab legs were among the best I’ve ever had, and definitely NOT what you would normally expect from a buffet. This place is well worth the money, and the service was great also!

The smallest buffet bar I have ever seen. The crab legs is the only thing you should come for. The salad bar was ½ of it. Very fresh and plentiful. Fried small oysters are ok. Lots of 51⁄60 size cold shrimp. The food was constantly brought out but if you are looking for more of a variety, this isn’t it. For $ 33 a person plus tip for dinner, I don’t think it’s worth it unless your a crab leg enthusiast.

I have had the same buffet selection at a golden coral and only cost 15.95. This place charged twice as much. The quality is very poor with the price in consideration. It will be our first and last visit. The service from our waitress was the quality of a standard buffet… So again what are you getting for the 32.95? Poor quality food, mediocre service, and a $ 80.00 check for a dinner for 2. Better food quality would make me happier and increased service quality would also, perhaps the cost would be better justified.

This an All-U-Can eat buffet style restaurant & it’s pricey. $ 32.95/adult, $ 15.95/large child, $ 8.95/small child & kids 3& under eat free. If u don’t like seafood OR hav a monster appetite it will b a total waste of time & money 4 u. The crab legs are steamed 2 perfection & the rest of the menu items I tried were good. There was a bit of a wait(45 mins) at dinner time but it was well worth it. Our server Wes was great! I will definitely come bak AND I highly recommend this place 2ANY1 who likes snow crab legs. They were delicious!

The staff was very friendly, excellent service, and a good atmosphere for families with small children. The Restrooms where very clean. The buffet was excellent. There will be a wait but it’s worth it.

I went with my family of six. We vacationed around Panama City Beach FL. I remember eating at this place 13 years ago and loved it. In fact it was one the the memories i had from our vacation wars earlier. So unfortunate to Capt Jacks my expectations for this place was extremely high. No worries though because they exceeded my expectations. First I noticed this place has been remodeled and very well taken care of over the years. Our waiter provided excellent service. The food was hot, plentiful, and even the kids loved it. Price was very reasonable. They even have a bar for the waiting area. Good job Capt. Jacks keep up the great work. We will be back.

Service was great. However, the food was just OK. I would have preferred less fried and more healthy options. More options in general would have been better. We are used to the Calabash style restaurants in the Carolinas. We were expecting something close to that.

Ok folks. I don’t know why people are complaining about this place. Who goes to an all you can eat crab leg buffet and complains about things like sides and salad bars and such? If you came here for an awesome dessert selection, you shouldn’t come here. The crab legs were never ending, hot, seasoned nicely, and was even better with the butter. Service was attentive. Why fill up on silly things like salad? If I’m going to spend 30 bucks, I’m going to fill up on crab legs.

i was recommended to go here … i should have followed my own mind and tuition that has screamed — «DON’T STOP — DON’T STOP» every time I previously visited PCB. it’s like there was a reason you never went out with someone… you never really knew why but it was just a gut feeling that you had. then someone speaks up in their behalf and you go out with them — — - and it’s worse than you thought. Capt Jacks is that date … like other reviewers — — - the food was tasteless, as if there was an embargo placed on seasonings in PC and they had a high tariff attached to imports … we went for lunch to save $$$ dinner is double the price …$ 30 plus your beverages … for lunch. the seafood items were as limited as your date options after the prom had already started … what i saw was fried clams, fried«popcorn» shrimp, fried police(which tasted like cod liver oil), baked cod… that was it!!! i can’t speak on the crab legs they are 4 dinner … if u want lunch … go to Captain D’s and donate half the difference to your favorite charity and you will definitely come out ahead!!! … at least for lunch …

Good variety, large salad bar, plenty of desserts. Lunch is significantly cheaper and probably the better way to go than paying over twice as much for dinner This was a good local buffet. They had a good variety of food that offered a good bang for your buck. The lunch and dinner buffets are somewhat similar except the dinner option offers oysters, crab legs, and a few other items. However, it will also run you more than twice as much. Unless you plan on loading up on oysters and crab legs, the lunch option is the better of the two. The salad bar was quite large, they had a good selection of chicken, fish, and beef; as well as a decent dessert bar. I would recommend coming here if you’re looking for a cheap, decent all-you-can-eat place in the area. Just don’t come in expecting a high-end buffet or actual seafood restaurant quality sea food.
