It took me about two years and a handful of horrible haircuts before a coworker told me about Lisa Fisher and this salon. Thank god for the recommendation because I once again have good hair! Lisa took me from dark brown back to my natural blonde and has provided my hair with shape and character. Lisa is a total sweetheart and full of good conversation. She is also equally skilled in cut and coloring. She listens to your ideas and executes flawlessly. I highly, highly recommend Lisa to anyone needing a new stylist!

Great salon that is not too pretentious like all the others… I had a fix a botched color job that turned out beautiful! And they do amazing makeup too! More affordable than any of the big name salons. Highly recommended!

I went there to accompany my sisters to see if I wanted to get my hair done there. The stylist for them didn’t even acknowledge me standing there. Not even a «hello, nice to meet you.» And to top it off, in between them, she accepted a walk-in…so we had to wait! Not impressed.

I’ve been coming to this salon for years, and I thought it was about time to write a review and give credit where credit is due. After moving from Orland to Evanston and trying out some salons in the Ev, I’ve realized just how great this salon is. The ladies who work here are so friendly and they do a great job. I always walk out feeling like a supermodel even if they just trimmed and styled it! Services I’ve received in the past include haircut and highlights, style, manicure, pedicure and eyebrow wax. It’s really a top-notch place with affordable prices. It’s always clean and the customer service is excellent. You know how at some salons you want to just read a magazine and ignore the stylist because they are boring/just suck in general? Not here. These people are personable and the conversation is never forced or awkward(but they will also allow you to read a magazine if that’s how you want to relax)! There are many great stylists there – I don’t think any of them are bad choices. I’ve received services from Lisa, Kim and Michelle. Aidan-Nicole Salon really makes me miss Orland and appreciate talented stylists.

I have been going to Aidan Nicole for a couple years and I always get a great cut and highlights. Lisa is an expert in color and my highlights are always natural looking(which is exactly how I like them). The rest of the staff are very courteous and I notice how everyone there helps each other to make sure customers are taken care of

I haven’t had a haircut in 6 months since I was so caught up in things and my routine is 2 – 4 months. Anyways, I was recommended to see Tara and she did a fantastic job. I’m Asian with thick-long hair. She trimmed off the dead ends, shaped up my layers, thinned my hair, and gave me bangs. She listens and gave me advice when I asked. Tara’s a sweetheart and very young looking so you might think she is inexperienced, but she cut and styled my hair without hesitation. Checking out: A wash, hair cut, and a blow out for long and thick hair… it came out to $ 55. P.S. These compliments from my friends won’t stop. Many have said this was the perfect hairstyle for me.

I beg to differ with Becky. Granted I loyally go to one stylist specifically, as does my mom with another stylist there, so I cannot speak for all of the employees in the salon nor their mani/pedi services. I’ve lived in NYC for four years and STILL come home to get my hair done here. Haircuts and highlights are outrageously expensive, especially if you go to the nicer salons out here. Unfortunately I’ve tried to go to places with prices somewhere in the middle, and haven’t really had a great experience. I can always count on my stylist at Aidan Nicole to do a phenomenal job for a fair price. As for attitudes of women in suburbia, I think you’re going to get a little of that everywhere you go. What my hair looks like leaving that salon is way more important to me than a few catty glances. The stylists my mom and I go to are super sweet and always get it right.

If nothing else, the suburbs are generally good for an abundance of parking and a surplus of spas and salons. Within a mile of my parents’ house, there are easily 4 – 5. And they live in UNINCORPORATED cook county. Heading over to Orland yields even more. With that said, this is a fairly unremarkable salon. My mom will go there for her once a year mani/pedi, and will sometimes drag me along. Nail services are what I would expect for the price(a little overpriced, but not outrageous), as are the attitudes, which are fairly snotty. Not surprisingly, the suburbs also boast an abundance of trixies. Meh.
