gist — use über
useless service! i took a cab from sfo airport to san jose and i was dumbfounded when i saw the charge. it was $ 150!!! they charge 1.5 times normal rate if you go out of sf county which doesn’t make sense. you can use über, lyft or any other taxi service and it will cost you just around $ 50-​$ 70.
i seriously urge everyone not to use this service! things like these outrage the customers and that’s why über has been so successful unlike conventional taxi services like this.
i could have given 0 stars if there was an option. (infuriated)

I’ll use über from now on.
Needed a ride since I recently suffered a spinal injury, I told the dispatcher I only needed to go a little over a half mile (a few blocks to my dr) and he started laughing and said he’ll «see if anyone is willing to go.»
So disrespectful, if I’m calling for a short ride it’s because I need it.

I was at San Antonio Caltrain. Dispatch said there was no such place, and after a short debate came out with «Oh, I was looking at Palo Alto, not Mountain View.»
That worried me from a cab company dispatch. But the cab arrived and the journey was fine!

I have lived in the Bay Area for about 7 years now and have used taxis throughout the peninsula. I can tell you that this is the only taxi service that is punctual, professional and on point. When they say they will be there in 15 minutes they arrive on time. I have had some truly bad experiences with Cab drivers in the bay area and I believe it is because of their long shift hours and because some of them do not have any standards. I have even been afraid to get into cabs from a company in San Mateo because of the crazy drivers. These guys are just the opposite. They are respectful, professional and courteous. I had decided that I was not going to ride in cabs anymore until I tried this service. I highly recommend this service to anyone needing a cab in the bay area.

Best airport taxi service I have ever received. My driver was on time and the car was super clean. very friendly and professional. I will definitely be using their service again.

I have been using UBER but decided on this occasion to order a taxi. The cab showed up ahead of schedule. I had in my arms my 8lb Yorkshire Terrier. These are dogs that are hypoallergenic, and don’t shed because they have hair. UBER drivers always greet my dog with delight. The cab driver asked «you have dog». Yes I replied — he then promptly drove off leaving me — and my dog — behind.
Yellow Cab — don’t whine about UBER — look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself what you should to compete effectively.

Quick and friendly service. My driver was very personable and made me feel at ease even though I was worried I wouldn’t make it to the airport on time. He made sure I did.

I needed a ride in Palo Alto. So I called this company. The taxi came exactly when the dispatcher said it would. The ride was smooth.
Sometimes taxi drivers can be crazy and I rather take my own car. But this experience was pleasant. Who needs über?

Sunny just dropped me off at SFO — again.
He’s terrific. I have been using him for years and use him at least a couple of times a month since I go between NYC and SF quite a bit. His is always on time — whether it is for pick up or drop off. There are no excuses with Sunny because he plans very well.
On the occasions he can’t make it himself, he’ll send one of his colleagues who are also excellent. The whole organization is courteous and well organized. They know where they are going and you never need to direct them.

Drove with Paul to San Jose airport at 4:30am. Was nervous about making my flight for the holidays so called the day before to make a reservation. Paul showed up early, waited for me to gather my luggage, was very polite, and got me to the airport very quickly! Would call him again in a heartbeat

I call this company several times. They are always on right time. A very friendly good service. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a great service.

I called 15 minutes before my caltrain stop and the cab driver (cab 1848) was prompt and there waiting for me when I arrived. He was great and got me to my destination, and they take credit card which is always a plus. I’d definitely use them again!
