Unity Palo Alto

We have been attending since before our daughter was born and have been so grateful for the love, support and uplifting spiritual experiences we have received each and every Sunday. Our daughter, now an adult, grew up going to the childrens sunday classes learning unity principles of knowing God is everywhere present, divine love flows through us all and in the stillness learning to breath, release worries and concerns and becoming mindful of the present moment. We all have found Unity Palo Alto to be our bulwark in storms and deeply caring friendships and opportunities to celebrate the joys of living one day at a time! We also love that we can take what we like and leave the rest. Unity Palo Alto is our physical spiritual home for life, that helps us stay grounded in the peace and loving kindess of the Christ presence within.

I searched for nearly a decade to find a church that I felt comfortable joining and involving my children in. So, after visiting dozens of churches I knew that UPA was a gem the first Sunday I visited (two years ago). The music program is terrific with great music every Sunday. The kids’ Sunday school is welcoming and warm. The adult classes are thought provoking and insightful. Rev Karen Bradley and John Riley provide exceptional lessons and leadership. And the congregation is very inclusive, non-​judgmental, and self aware. It’s a happy and supportive place that has had a tremendous impact on me and my kids (ages 9 and 7). I’m a better person because of my connection to UPA. (Worth checking out if you’re looking for a church community… there is no pressure so it’s easy to visit to see what you think.)

Unity Palo Alto is amazing. Rev. Karen is an amazing minister and the entire congregation is inviting. I enjoy the Sunday gatherings, as well as the many self healing events Unity Palo Alto offers during the week.

Unity Palo Alto rocks. On August 1, they showed a multi-​cultural video on people from South Africa to New Orleans singing one song, «Stand by Me.»
The context was that each of us needs someone else whether God, another person or whatever at sometime and that we’re not on earth alone.
That message alone was worth dressing to go to church.

Come check out Unity Palo Alto church. It’s a beautiful place with a really cool minister, Karen. She’s funny and spiritual and the sermons are not dull or heavy on the christianity, but more about how to life a good life and be a happier person. The music is generally good, too. There is a lot of singing and fellowship here, as well as socializing and hugging. But, if that’s not your thing, you don’t need to join in.

Great gay family friendly church! It is a great place to get in touch with your spiritual side. I feel peaceful every week after attending services. Also, our daughter loves the nursery.

I have been attending Unity Palo Alto for a couple of years. The minister, Karyn Bradley, is wonderful and the congregation is diverse and very welcoming.
