I’ve never been to a male ob/​gyn before, so I was a little bit hesitant, but it was the earliest appointment I could get for a regular annual exam. I had no idea what to expect, but as soon as he came into the room he made me feel at ease. He’s very professional; nothing weird here at all. He’s good at keeping the chatter going to distract you from what you’re actually having done. And to be honest, it was the most comfortable pap I’ve ever had. Usually even when my previous doctors have been gentle, I’ve experienced at least some discomfort and pain. But I honestly barely felt it this time.
All in all, a very good experience. I waited less than 10 minutes to be called in and the reception staff were nice and helpful. My only quip would be that I thought the nurse who took my blood pressure was a little bit cold and unpleasant. But Dr. Thom himself was great.
