wow where do I start?! Well I will say I came here as an observer a year back, and all I can say it is a early educators dream come true, the parents, children and teachers are well respected, and whats more. well this is not rare in northern California it seems, male teachers! Everything from down to the playground was made with love and care.

I recommend this place 100%. I love this preschool and so does my son. It is his first experience away from us and he is always asking to go back. The teachers are so warm and loving that I feel he is very safe and cared for. It has a family feel to it like it is it’s own little community of close families and teachers. AND It seems that my son is constantly engaged in it’s play base, they do a lot of exploring the world around them. AND they are encouraged to be kind to each other. A great place to help you raise your child. Just wonderful. It might be a little hard to get in because it is so great the kids seem to stay leaving few openings.

My daughter attended The Learning Center from age 20 months (2 days per week) to when she left to start Kindergarten. This is a play-​based program that served our family very well. Three things I liked about it were 1) the length of tenure of its teachers and the maturity and professionalism of the staff overall 2) the small size and proximity to our home, 3) the chance they gave my kid just to be a kid, play in the water and sand and get dirty. As more and more evidence comes out that playing is the most important thing a kid can do TLC looks to be an even better choice. I’ve heard they’ve upgraded their facilities since we were there, I would have withheld a star for that as they were run-​down (not that my kid cared) but with those improvements I rate TLC a solid five stars.

I sent this center a waitlist deposit, and then spent months (yes, months) leaving messages asking them to call me back — to learn more about the center, ask about the waitlist, let them know my daughter was born.
They never once called me back. Not once.
But they sure did cash my check. Terrible service for a place with higher-​than-​average fees and a high infant-​to-​teacher ratio. No thanks.

Our toddler graduated from an infant program to preschool, and we’re so glad we’ve found TLC.
TLC does a great job with their program, giving children a warm, nurturing environment, and lots to explore and learn from each other. The director is very proactive with parent communication and engagement, and the teachers have been great. After just a few weeks at TLC, we already notice development in our toddler’s interactions and exercising of imagination.
We’re very happy to have found this great place for our child.
