Tesla Stanford Shopping Center

Excellent service and staff — juts like the motor. My car-​mad, 4-​year old son loves visiting the store when in Stanford as he has two Teslas, courtesy of Hotwheels! The staff, in particular Flora, are exceptional.

Excellent informed staff. Analogous to shopping experience at Apple, which is a couple doors down. Attentive staff, but a no pressure sale. The car sold itself anyway. Convenient location too.

Tesla is by far my ultimate dream car. Watching this place be built was so exciting and tonight I finally had a chance to go inside and check it out. I was 1 of two total customers in the store and there were 5 employees. After showing myself around for a good 5 – 6 mins with no greeting or acknowledgement I started to become very sad. When I was finally «greeted» the man who approached me did not ask my name no did he introduce himself. he just said «you just here looking around?» Like he did not think I was worth his time (probably why he did not greet me until now)
So just to give you an image of me, I am a 26 yr old college student, so I can’t yet afford a tesla, HOWEVER, it is my dream to become successful enough to own one. And to be shirked off by employees was a huge disappointment.
Also I spoke to the manager and voiced my concern with her employees lack of attentiveness and her excuse was that «they’re new». First off, most new employees are overly inviting, full of life, and still excited about their new job. The problem with these employees was that they are rude, lackluster, and judgy. That is an attitude I normally attribute with an employee who has been at a dead end job for years and is jaded. NOT NEW.
If I ever try out a tesla it will not be at Stanford shopping center. Perhaps tesla should reevaluate their hiring choices.
