Terminix International

Found rat droppings. Wife is in hysteria mode. So I blast all exterminators in the area. Terminix is a «known brand» right? They even have a website, I can request appointments online. I get email confirmation they received my request. Three days later, I get some lame email «we’ve been trying to call you but haven’t reached you.» RIIIGHT. like I haven’t kept my cell phone on the whole time.

Similar experience here. Called the 1 – 800 call center yesterday to arrange for a visit concerning bed bugs. The agent was somewhat obtuse but she did confirm that the visit was scheduled for between 7 — 9 this AM. No show. I called the 1 – 800 call center again — different agent (of course) told me they had no record of the request. Put me on eternal hold so I gave up after a while.
Will look elsewhere. I wonder how they stay in business?

I called this in for work on a Monday. They said the tech didn’t work Monday’s, so they would need to set an appointment for Tuesday.
I called first thing Tuesday morning to make sure our office was on the schedule. The clueless woman (Ushpa-​?) who answers the phone (and «accidentally» hung up on me a few times) said that the tech, «Miguel», was due to arrive sometime between 8am and 12pm.
1pm rolls around… no exterminator. I call the stupid Burlingame office again. I’m told he is on his way, and he will be at our office by 3:30pm.
3:45pm and he’s a no show. I call the office back and get a weird generic greeting for some random company, which does not allow me to leave a message. I call an alternate number for a different Terminix in the Bay Area, they transfer me back to Ushblah. She tells me that the tech is supposed to arrive before 5pm.
WHAT THE F*CKKKKKKKKKKKK BIYAAAAAAAAAAATCHES!!!
I tell her, «That’s not what you told me this morning…» She then puts me on hold for an eternity, and says that he should be here in 30 minutes. WHAT THE MAJOR EFFFFFF!!!
TERMINIX SUCKS MAJOR ARSE.
