It’s not an easy thing to talk about, but it’s really an important screen. I am the 2nd member of my family to be treated by Dr. Liu, and she’s been a wonderful doctor. She was highly recommended to us by a friend who has unfortunately needed multiple visits, but is now healthy and stable. The whole procedure for me was quick, and actually much easier than I expected. After a nap afterwards, I felt great. I’m surprised by the negative Unilocal reviews. I think Dr. Liu probably spends more time with patients who have problems. She didn’t spend excessive time with me, but she let me know that I am healthy! She was very kind and professional, and she remembered my family. Her nursing staff doesn’t seem to have changed much in the last couple of years, and they are very attentive and offer many chances to ask questions. I wouldn’t have changed a thing. I’m glad I did it, it’s peace of mind.

I’ve never reviewed a doctor on Unilocal before, but had such a needlessly unpleasant experience with Dr. Liu I felt it was important to speak out. I’ve been extremely hesitant to see a GI doctor and was told that Dr Liu would ‘hold my hand’ and make the whole experience easier. Not the case at all! She barely explained anything to me at my first appointment. The office staff typically had an annoyed tone, were disinterested in their customers and were not at all helpful. Today I called to ask the doctor a medication question, but a staff member spoke to the doctor on my behalf incorrectly, then refused to re-ask the question unless I came in for an appointment. Turns out there were no available appointments for the rest of the year. I explained I just wanted to ask the doctor a simple question but the office person would not ask the doctor my question. She refused to let me speak with the doctor directly and claimed she had«just left the office». So basically I was left dangling and she couldn’t care less. It was the last straw, so I asked for my medical records planning to find another, more responsive doctor with professional front office staff. She seemed pleased to see me take my business elsewhere. I can only hope enough other patients walk away so the doctor eventually gets the message.

My mother has been seeing Dr. Liu since 2004, her colonoscopy procedures were always pleasant and painless with Dr Liu. Dr Liu’s office staffs are helpful to get medicare pre-approval for us each time. Due to insurance changes, my mom had switched to Dr. Bronstone once and complained of pain during colonoscopy; we suspend polyps might had been missed because she got 7 polyps four years later with one large polyp growth. My mom is seeing Dr. Liu next week for the third time; she is simply a wonderful doctor.

assembly line doctor– missed key items. I swear it is doctors like this that should make social medicine a standard is the US. Horrible experience. Get another colonoscopy.

I had to have an emergency colonoscopy and endoscopy. Her nurse was so helpful rearranging her schedule to meet with me to go over all necessary paperwork. Dr Liu removed 4 polyps, and I had absolutely zero pain afterwards. I had to cancel my appointment the afternoon before I was meeting with her to discuss the biopsy results. She was nice enough to call and explain the biopsy findings to me, and was very patient in answering all my questions. I wish all doctors were this helpful! Highly recommend —
