Description

Specialties

We help providers of service businesses grow their businesses. We do it by helping build awareness of their expertise and exceptional skills, cast a wider net for new customers with unique and cost effective lead generation, and help them insure the profitability of their service engagements by guiding service definition and packaging.

Our team can help with outreach mechanisms, like blogs and websites, as well as video, and even book publishing.

History

Established in 2001.

We started Service for Profit in 2001, after the last tech downturn in the Valley. All of our team had worked for, or been associated with the technology industry — and we put that expertise in creating profitable services, and promoting them to work meeting the needs of smaller technology businesses, as well as non-tech firms. Early clients included the City of Palo Alto, Franklin Covey, and The Pacific Institute (Lou Tice’s organization in Seattle).

Our focus in the last two years has been on the business outreach needs of professional service firms in Silicon Valley.
