This doctor operated on my eyes for cataracts, so plastic lenses were inserted in place of my natural lenses. The two operations were weeks apart. At first my vision improved greatly and I was so happy. I could see much more clearly and my night vision for driving was much better. After a few months, however, the effects of the surgery deteriorated. Pretty soon, my vision was back to where it had been before the admittedly frightening eye operations. In addition, I had massive black «floaters» in each eye. The floaters in one eye have lasted for years. Several visits to Ryu’s office produced no improvement. She admitted that she had no idea what was going on. I was left with a very negative impression of her skill and ability to perform cataract surgery. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for an eye surgeon.
