Rekha takes a collaborative approach to health care, first seeking to understand her patient’s needs and then applying up-​to-​date clinical knowledge and evidence-​based medicine to create a thorough plan of care that is tailored to them. Drawing on her comprehensive background in primary care and women’s health care, she focuses largely on preventive care and chronic disease management and enjoys serving as the first point of contact for patients. Rekha earned her MD from the University of Alberta in Canada and went on to complete her residency in Family Medicine at Royal Alexandra Hospital in Alberta. She is certified through the American Board of Family Medicine and the College of Family Physicians of Canada and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
