College town pizza joint in a VERY busy neighborhood. Parking is near impossible in the evening. Not wanting to venture out too far, we decided to get carry out and ordered their Cesar Salad, a large Big Sur Pizza with jalapenos and another pie with just sausage. Toppings were generous and overall decent pizza. Order was ready when promised and at a fair price.

I’ve had better. The veggie pizza was loaded with toppings(artichoke, mushrooms, olives, and more) yet tasted completely bland. I had to smother it with red pepper flake to give it any taste beyond soggy crust. And, yes, the crust was soggy from all the vegetables. There was also no pizza sauce aside from a couple specks near the edges of crust. Overall, disappointing. The cheese was a little better, hence 3 stars. This would have been a 1 or 2, otherwise.

Let’s be honest, if you are a Stanford graduate student, you have probably had more Pizza My Heart at a seminar more times than you like to admit. It is a good olé dependable pizza that I would prefer over another fast food chain like dominos but I wouldn’t go here over another sit down pizza places like Oggis for example. The Pizza My Heart on University has great delivery service and is always on time, which to me is super important especially if you have weekly seminars that are on a strict schedule and waiting around for the food to arrive isn’t really an option. Now let’s talk about the menu. They have so many options(lots of vegetarian too!) and I’ve never had a pizza from here that I thought was awful, but I have also never had a pizza that was just amazing and could eat all day everyday. The major components are good: fluffy crust, generous amount of cheese, and flavorful sauce. The pizzas are a bit on the oily side, but let’s be real, if you’re eating pizza, you have to come to accept that you’re going to consume a lot of calories regardless. With that said, my favorites are: chicken jalapeño sausage bbq chicken chicken pesto with sundries tomatoes

Good, cheap pizza by the slice they bake up for you. Decent, fresh salads. Great prices! Open late. A good option for cheap, late dining in the area. The plaza outdoors is always happenin’.

Yes, I’m a huge fan but I wouldn’t come here on a random free day. I love Pizza My Heart because it’s accessible to my job and it’s great pizza for large groups. Since I work at Stanford, their pizza is perfect for our parties and such. The pizza itself tastes great and they have different types to choose from which is always great. I love the fact that I can grab as much ranch as I want! The salads are also great for $ 6 and makes the perfect pair with their pizzas. Prices are a bit high but it is reasonable since the quality of their pizza is on point.

The Watsonville pizza. Let’s talk about it. I’ve been to pizza my heart before and was NEVER impressed with anything I ate there. That is until an event I attended catered the Watsonville. The highlights of this pizza are pepperoni, bacon, sausage, APPLES, green onions and crumbly cheese. On a menu, I’d probably never order that for myself but after trying the first slice, I crave this pizza weekly! Try it!

I’m one of those people that only like asian food, anything with rice and noodles and I’m eating it. But lately I’ve been going out of my comfort zone and trying things that I been telling people I don’t like. One of those things are pizza. Today I decided to not eat noodles and rice and come here for a late lunch, their chicken & bacon pizza impressed me! It was so so good, I don’t know if I was just starving or it was really really bomb. For $ 4.50 per slice I thought it was pricey but they are huge and I was full after eating just one slice. Way to go Pizza my Heart for changing how I feel about pizzas :)

Conveniently located downtown, seems like every Pizza my Heart I’ve visited is near a school. Late night munchies! And across the street is a 24 hour Subway … A majority of the time I have to wait 10 minutes for more chicken and bacon dLex that’s bubbling in the oven. I normally order three slices of that and a super veggie to go. Grab a slice and logo t-shirt combo for only $ 6! I remember when it was $ 5 back in the day. Right now they don’t have any limited edition shirts but will probably display new ones once summer approaches. I had an issue with my slices. Had to wait those few minutes for a new batch, no prob. For some reason they put a slice of pesto in my box. They resolved the issue but I felt bad they had to throw the slice away. Other than that, no issues. The employees don’t seem that enthusiastic to be there, given it was a Saturday afternoon and they missed out on sunshine. I miss the folks that worked at the downtown SJ location back when I was a student; they had a good work vibe going on. Stamp card that keeps on giving! Free soda after 3 stamps, free salad after the next 3, and a free slice after the last 3 on the card. Start over!

Cheap pizza isn’t always bad pizza. For example, Pizza My Heart. I’ve read and heard rave reviews about this place. My family had stopped at the one in Capitola, but its setup did not work at all for a husband, wife, and wired 6-year-old who wanted to sit down and eat a pizza. The Palo Alto location works better for families. We found that out personally. The restaurant, and its website, has a real attitude of «hang loose, dude». Here on University Avenue, the vibe is limited to the pictures of surfers and surfing. But the staff, although professional, had a casual back-slapping feel to them. We all had a shirt and a slice, and a Coke. My daughter, now 9, had her usual cheese pizza, the hunny had a slice filled with pepperoni, and I had the combo(pepperoni, sausage, and onion). $ 6, $ 8 with Coke, a good deal. It was ready in only a few minutes. Pizza My Heart is good for people like me who prefer toppings to crust. It’s a thin crust, so it doesn’t fill you up, and it’s not blow-you-away tasty. But we all found our slices to be tastier than Round Table, and I(on my seafood diet) was the only one of the family NOT filled up by only one Pizza My Heart slice. You can choose other combinations, or make your own. All at low prices. The Coke machine is high-tech and a little hard to work if you’re not accustomed to it. So I believe the hype. Pizza My Heart is that good. It’s not the best I’ve had, but if it was, then the prices would be higher. For its price range, it’s tops. Families and Stanfurd students tend to watch their budget, and Pizza My Heart is good for the budget, even in PA. If you’re in the area, going to the junior university, or actually live in PA, stop on in.

Dependable good pizza but the prices are always a bit shockingly high for me for a slice. I guess this is a high rent area, and the competition is even higher priced. Lots of seating and usually fast service.

I always seem to come here after a night at the bars on University, but I have to say they never disappoint. The pizza is always pretty fresh, and always tastes good. I recommend trying the dipping sauces they have, especially the ranch and pesto. I also LOVE the cheesy garlic bread, which is a real hidden gem. For about $ 5 you get a medium pizza sized cheesy garlic bread with dipping sauce, and it’s to die for! I honestly come just for this sometimes. Although they are open late, be warned that the line gets pretty long around the time when bars are starting to close. But I do think it’s worth the wait!

The pizza is just an okay here. And very small beer selection. I had better at other«Pizza My Heart», and, considering their competitor Patxi across the street, they have quite a bit to catch up. Pizza displayed ready for oven didn’t seem as appetizing as well. But once again, it’s not bad. I rather go to Patxi’s if I had a company. This place is a bit quicker and convenient if you are by yourself. I had the vegetable pizza and the toppings were good. I wish the crust was as good though…

I’ve actually never tried Pizza My Heart until I received this coupon from this app called YouPlus that gave me a free slice of pizza. I showed them the app and the manager was confused but she still gave me free pizza! The pizza was amazing. Probably one of the best I’ve ever had. It was full of flavor and thin slice pizza(which is my favorite) was flavorful. I also like how the to-go box was in the shape of a pizza.

Ugh I was so disappointed in this place when I ordered delivery! I’m usually a fan of PMH when you go in and they bake the pizza slices right then and there. When I ordered delivery it took an HOUR on a late Wednesday night. When it came it was so soggy I could even pick it up. Now I know.

My co-worker had some free coupons and decided to hook us up. The coupon comes with a free slice pizza, salad, and drink! My coworker only want the salad so they gave me the pizzas so now I got 3 slices! I chose the asian chicken salad. The customer service here kind of sucked. When I asked a sauce for the salad. The cashier called someone to get the sauce, but no one listen since those guys were chatting in the back. I had to remind them twice just to get my sauce. The cashier was busy training someone which was understandable. Overall, thin slices pizza was good, but a little greasy. I prefer New York pizza better.

«COWABUNGA! BRUHIT’S PIZZATIMEYEAHHH! «-TMNT You always hear about Pizza My Heart but never have eaten here before… WELL Why Not?! For a pizza chain, their brilliance lies in inviting you in for a casual, delicious bite. The pizza aroma is simply enticing– affordable and delicious! I am happy to be a satisfied customer here! Pizza My Heart models itself after the chill SoCal surfer vibe like Hollister. The interior is quite spacious(enough for like 50 patrons) and clean with cute décor of surfboard memorabilia. I’ve visited a couple times and finally tried the pizza myself a few days ago. For a huge face-sized pizza slice, prices ranged from $ 3+ to $ 4.20, sweet deal brah! PMH also has salads, breadsticks, wings, sides, brewskis, etc. Pretty much, pizza heaven! Tried the BIGSUR: Roasted garlic cloves, organic tomato pizza sauce, pepperoni, sausage, portobella mushrooms, and green onions. One of the best pizza creations EVER! The meats were tender, crispy nuggets of perfection and the roasted garlic clove added a twist ‘n kick! Of course if you can’t enjoy the combo or garlic and mushrooms, then avoid it hehe. SLICES of the DAY $ 4.25: +Monday — FORTPOINT(Pesto, Tomato, Chicken, Sausage, Artichoke) +Tuesday — LITTLESUR(Roasted Garlic, Roasted Red Peppers, Portobella, Green Onions, Tomatoes) +Wednesday — SANANDREAS(Pastrami, Gourmet Mustard, Peperoncini) +Thursday — ROCKAWAY(BBQ Sauce, Chicken, Red Onion, Cilantro) +Friday — WATSONVILLE(Green Apple, Pepperoni, Sausage, Bacon, Green Onion) +Saturday — FIGGYPIGGY(Figs, Bacon, Feta Cheese, Fresh Sage) +Sunday — MANRESA(Fresh Basil, Garlic, Tomato, Ricotta) I would recommend trying their Slice of the Day if you’re feeling adventurous! The portion is hearty and their quality is up to par. The dough was not dry or too squishy soft. Their crust is bomb, so hang ten duuude! There’s also a REWARDSTAMPCARD that you definitely want to grab! Service is rad and chillax; I definitely will be back :)
