It was a gorgeous little café, and I respect them roasting their own beans. Very pretty space. Nice tables, a cool layout of all their coffees. Unfortunately, the«cappuccino» I ordered was served to me about 12 or 14oz, WAY too big, terrible quality foam, and the espresso had been burnt to heck! They badly over roast their beans to the point of only tasting charred beans. Very sad, but I’ll give them 2 stars if nothing else because they were nice, and the space was well designed.

By far this is the worst blended mocha place I have ever visited. My beverage had the consistency of(almost) water. Service wasn’t super fast, but the people were nice. If you order a beverage or something to eat, you can use their wifi for free, but if you want to use their computer for Net access, they charge you $ 8/hour. What a rip off!

This is where I go to write, and I’m rating ‘em high for the bevy of tables and chairs, free Internet, gouge-free prices, nice staff, and unpretentious atmosphere. I’ve been known to spit out and pour bad coffee down the sink, and I think their coffee is totally fine. I’m pretty religious about getting the straightforward $ 1.60 coffee and the Peet and Larry bagel – a sandwich that reminds me of something my dad would throw together when the fridge was getting scrappy(bagel with mustard, avocado, pickles, and tomato) – is a favorite. And, thank goodness, they have the requisite bowl of brown sugar in the condiment area, which to me is the only way to go. When will coffee places in other parts of the country pick up on this?

I have to agree to the fact that they can over roast the beans. The quality of the beans are worthy of a tasty cup, but you have to enjoy roasting to this degree. I KNOW that the machinery there CAN make some excellent roasts. Therefore the quality is completely dependent on the kids … I mean the people roasting. I would have to rate this two stars since the one-star in my mind would be a stomach-rot old diner of some kind with coffee makers that have not been cleaned for decades.

More like a coffee burning company. Their espresso tastes like it had been pressed through already spent grounds. I thought it was just a miss two years ago, and so I tried again a week after, and then again a few months thereafter. You’d think I’d learn my lesson then, yet I gave it another try two weeks ago. Consistent quality, I’ll give them that.
