Nike Running

Came in today (9÷29÷15) and Jeff was the sales associate that helped me find the exact pair of running shoes that would fit my needs. Hands down BEST customer service I’ve ever had at the mall. Will definitely be returning to this location for future purchases!

i’ve been coming to this store for years, for 3 reasons:
1. to shop for their latest running clothing & accessories (love their dri-​fit clothing!)
2. to join their run club on a training run (meets every wed & sun)
3. to drop off used shoes for their shoe recycling program
they have remodeled their store a few times over the years, and each time, they just get better and better.
staff is very knowledgeable, so be sure to hit them up with questions if you’re unsure about anything.
nike…JUST DO IT!

Not as many varieties of shoes to choose from and I usually have to be the one to approach the sales associates first for help.

Placed an order online… received it and the items weren’t what my son expected. Searched for a retail store to return/​exchange the items… the 1^st customer service rep wasn’t able to do the return on to a gift card, so Kayla, another sales rep tried to do it and same thing… they can’t do the return without the visa card we placed the order with… understandable, but why would you go through all that if you knew that in the 1^st place? I drove there from Pacifica, Ca which is about 35 mins away… to deal with 2 incompetent service reps… didn’t mind when the 1 service rep couldn’t do it… but when Kayla came up, she acted as if she knew what she was doing. that was a joke… NEVER going there again.

I love Nike! I only gave the store 4 stars because they do have very many options to choose from for tights! You’re better off ordering online. BUT… They have the latest running shoes u can think of. Then Nike store is pretty dope in that regard.

Anytime I need Nikes, this is my first stop. The staff is always friendly, attentive and professional. Not much else to write since they always do their job! Keep it up

The sales associate took 20 minutes to get me my pair of shoes. His breath was terrible too. Good inventory and fun shoes though.

I didn’t know much about shoes and I am a runner. One of the employees did a run analysis on me where I got on a treadmill. It was super helpful in choosing the right shoe for me and the employees there definitely know what they are talking about. They were really nice and I found the perfect show!

Came in today to buy running shoes and stood next to the employee for 10 mins and he didn’t ask me once if I needed help, so I left. He probably didn’t think I was gonna buy anything because I’m a fatty. Ended up ordering the shoe online instead.

I mainly come here for running shoes and so far had bought 5 pairs from them. Most of the time they’re helpful and knowledgeable of their products. Depends on when you go there and whose working, at times you may have to walk up to an employee for assistance. Overall, it’s an okay place to shop.

I can’t fully give the store a detailed review as I was only here to pick up a race bib for the SF Nike ½
Staff were courteous while we waited in line and the store appeared to be well stocked considering the amount of people that were shopping for the occasion. If I come back I will update this review, but all in all a positive experience for the short trip there

The store is clean and organized which I like.
Seemed like they had a LOT of people just standing around who were working there, like 5+ doing nothing. I came in wanted Nike Flex shoes, but didn’t see them on the shoe wall. I was approached by a worker and asked if I needed help, and I told her what I was looking for and she had never heard of what I was asking (2 of my friends have just bought Nike Flex shoes so I know they exist). So I thought that was kind of weird. She seemed knowledgeable about the shoes they did have, but when I asked about them in comparison to the Flexes, she again came up short. Shouldn’t the employees have information on all the products? I also don’t get why the Nike Store doesn’t have all its own products…
She gave me information on their other shoes for what it sounded like I was looking for, but I thought it was fishy that the only ones she recommended to me happened to be the most expensive in the store. Commission motivated? Probably.

Exchanging Fuelband. So far they seem really good. Great service. no problems. They checked it out and exchanged my Fuelband… tried on some shoes there… the sales staff was very friendly and knowledgeable…

Nike does this thing called, «Store Surveys» which can be found at the bottom of your receipts to review the performance of the store. I do these all the time because I get great customer service at most Nike locations in the Bay. Plus they give you a $ 5 coupon for your next visit. Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it), I haven’t had to do one for this location because as I quote my correspondence to Nike:
«I go to the Palo Alto location for sizing purposes… I would rather give my money to Nordstrom across the street than these nitwits»
Ever since I discovered this lifestyle called, «Fitness», I’ve been patronizing this brand especially their Sportswear and «NSW» lines. (NSW is their higher end, more how you say, «luxury loungewear»), so I tend to scope out all the locations for variety.
This particular location caters more to the running crowd. They do running meet ups, with information posted on their community board. Once in a blue moon they have a small sales rack of discounted items not normally sold in their store.
I’m generally a pretty relaxed person when its comes to customer service, having had to be on the other end at one point, however, this store is LACKING in all directions. Their product is cool to look at, but not much to peruse. Their customer service is pretty minimal (meaning until you get to the register, they could care less)
I’ve been here NUMEROUS times with 4 associates on the floor and up to 8 (they had a district manager in to visit which is why they had so many, and STILL it was lacking until I commented to them about how many there were of them. Doesn’t count because the customer engaged the conversation).
I’ve never been greeted. This one other time I asked to place my items on the register only to be returned with a, «HUH???» The male associate was so engrossed with his thoughts I had to slowly repeat my request. WTH. The guy had the nerve to place his associate number with my purchase to get the commission. I wanted to comment about it to the cashier, but was so annoyed about the whole thing and decided to just get on with my life.

Like any other brand name store in the shopping center, I was ready to spend some money here at this Nike store.
I had called all the Nike stores around my area, looking for some the black/​black-​sail Women’s Roshe Runs (AKA the speckled/​splatter ones) for a graduation gift. I was ready to give up and just purchase online as a belated gift, but luckily I remembered that Nike actually has a really great customer service hotline at 1−800−806−6453.
I asked the rep if there was ANY stores within driving distance from me that still carried a pair. The rep responded that there was one more pair left, at this location! I called the store right away, and the girl who went looking for the pair of shoes offered to put it on hold for me until I got there. YES PLEASE. And off I went, on my journey for those highly sought after pair of feet pillows.
2 hours in traffic later, I finally made my way to the store. Very clean and well kept, the displays and décor are above the norm. I simply just said I had a shoe on hold, and the employee who greeted me at the door went in the back right away to grab it for me. Straight to the point, and very friendly. I was in and out of there with some fresh kicks and a sense of accomplishment. I was pleased with the courtesy, and everyone even complimented me on my Flyknit Racers! Glad to know someone else in this world appreciates bright colored running shoes.
Would come back anytime my wallet allows me to.

Best store to get «We run Palo Alto» shirts made by Nike.
Oh yeah, only place, I mean.
You know what you want, find it online. Otherwise come in here and put your stank ass feet in their shoes to find the right size, then use an online code and get free shipping in front of your PC at work.
They have a running club meet and they run around the neighborhood, I have yet to try it, but sounds cool.

This is a really nice Nike store. Only for runner/​joggers. I was looking for Airmax 2012’s the last time I was here. They only had them in black. I was a bit disappointed that they only had one color. For a running store it would make more sense for them to have multiple color for running shoes. For that I ended up buying my Airmax 2012’s on

The women’s section here has more of a color selection and nicer looking shoes. Even their running running gear looks nicer.

Why? I’ve been coming in since they changed from just a women’s Nike store to a Nike running store catering to both men and women. The service is hit or miss. By this I mean just walking through the door. Now I don’t expect the sales associates to fall over to greet employees but a simple smile and «Hello» will do. More often than not, it’s indifference as they shuffle merchandise but today it was not one but TWO sets of employees just chatting as we walked in. Both sets made eye contact but couldn’t take time to even muster a fake smile.
On other occasions, when searching for a specific size, nearby employees continue their business without offering assistance or asking if they could help. The only place really where the employees seem to be interested in helping is at the back of the store near the shoe wall.
In today’s day and age of going to a B&M store to get a physical feel and ordering online at a discount, stores should be more focused on sharpening their best advantages, the human interaction and human touch, instead of choosing to ignore it.
Two stars, only because it caters to a specialized type of shoe where other running shoe stores won’t have the same selection.

I visited the Stanford location since I happened to be in the area and wanted to buy some Roshe Runs for my mom. So I have a few complaints.
–First off, upon entering we were not greeted whatsoever. In fact, I didn’t even see an employee until I made my way to the middle of the store where I saw several employees chatting amongst themselves.
–Second, the Women’s Roshe Runs were not in the Women’s section. Instead, they were off to the side where someone could easily miss them.
–Third, there was no one readily available to help me retrieve the size I needed. As I mentioned before, the employees were chatting amongst themselves and I didn’t want to bother them.
I definitely think this location needs to work on their customer service. It’s a shame that Nike is being represented by lazy employees!
Oh, and make sure you fill out their survey. I got $ 5 for complaining about their lazy employees :)

Back in the day, this place used to be Nike Women. Now, I guess they figured out they’re missing out on selling to men, so its now Nike Running. For only selling running shoes and apparel, this place is pretty decently sized. About 75% of this place is dedicated to sportswear. From hoodies, shorts, to t-​shirts, if you’re looking for some Nike running gear, then this is where you want to be. At the back of the store is where you’ll find all the shoes. Before you think you can come here and get your Jordans and SBs, remember that this place is Nike Running. Thus, you’ll only find running and cross trainers here.
Once again, the selection is decent for running stuff. If you’re looking for anything else that’s Nike, then make that trip up to SF and go to Niketown.
