Magic Mike or the Great Hughdini

A few days ago I went to dinner with some friends and they invited Hughdini to join us. When we finished eating, Hughdini gave us an impromptu demonstration of his magic tricks. He had some playing cards and the steel rings. He did some card tricks for us while I was sitting right across the table from him. I must have been within two feet of him at the time. He started off slowly, then moved on to the real tricks. I was quite impressed… and unable to explain how he did it. Then he did the steel rings tricks, which I have seen a million times before, but I was unable to figure out how he did them. I could not see any gap in the rings, although there must be a gap in one of them — he was very accomplished. He told us that he tailors the show to the audience, doing tricks appropriate for the age of the audience. He also said that he typically gives a one hour long show when hired to do a show for a birthday party or corporate event. I would recommend giving him a try if you are looking for entertainment for a party.
