Link over-​delivers! Our entire home remodel took 3 months from demo to move-​in. John and his entire crew are so professional, fast and efficient and above all the quality of their work is outstanding. So happy in our new home!

We just had our 1953 Eichler San Mateo home remodeled by John Olin and his Link Corp Team. This is our first time remodeling.
We’ve read about all possible nightmare scenarios when it comes to the process, budget, the contractor, etc. but you have nothing to worry when working with Link. John is available 24 hours a day (really). He gives you his cell, his project manager’s cell, and anyone’s cell you need. His staff from top to bottom is wonderful. We (with two small children both under 4 years old) lived in our home during the remodel (crazy I know). Workers took time to clean EVERYDAY to protect us from debris. They came to work every day including weekends. They were there on time (most of the time early) and stayed as late as needed to complete the task. They gave us ample notice when they needed to work late.
Link doesn’t subcontract. Everyone is part of the team and you can tell. They really enjoy working with each other which makes us homeowners feel comfortable letting them work on our home. They have a lot of pride in their work. From the cabinet guy to the floor guy to the tile guy — they are all meticulous in their craft. You want to see precision? You should see our tile guy’s work. WOW!
Our project ran longer than expected because our home had a lot of unforeseen issues. John foresaw a lot of the issues and projected a fair timeline but when dealing with such an old home where previous owners did their own work you have to expect a bit of delay.
John stayed within our budget for the most part. :) He kept giving us options that were so hard to pass up on so we did go beyond our budget. Not anyone’s fault but ours. He will give you options that are within your budget and options that he would recommend for durability and sustainability of the home.
Work done on our home:
— All new siding
— All exterior paint
— All new electrical
— All new windows
— All new insulation including floor
— New flooring in living area including new subfloor
— New kitchen with custom cabinets
— Tankless water heater
— New furnace
— New master bath
We couldn’t list everything but you get the idea. We weren’t able to add on to our home (city code stuff) this time around. When we’re ready we’ll definitely reach out to John and the Link Team again. Hands down the BEST company to go with. We highly recommend the Link Team!

Link Corp was recommended by a member of our car club. We always like to support fellow members whenever possible so we consulted him on updating a house we were considering purchasing. He let us look at a couple houses that were in progress and the finished workmanship was very nice. What swayed us to use Link Corporation was how fast he said they could get the job done and he really lived up to that expectation. For us, it just didn’t make sense to buy a house we couldn’t live in right away. At first we were thinking of just doing the one bathroom would be enough to make the place livable, but John made it very clear his company does not do small jobs or one room renovations. So that made us re-​think a little bit, but in the end both of us really did want a new home and we really liked the location and neighborhood. John’s estimate turned out to be within our budget, so we purchased the home and had Link Corporation remodel the entire thing. It went very quickly and it was impressive to see the transformation. We definitely got what we wanted and faster than we could have imagined. These guys just don’t waste any time. I am happy with the how the house turned out. If you know what you want and are serious about getting it done than this is the right company to use.

I was very fortunate to have hired Link Corporation to remodel two bathrooms, my kitchen and put on a new roof. the quality of the the work was perfect. the employees were always on time and quite neat in spite of the mess that comes with remodeling.
I had mentioned to John that I had always wanted a original cast iron footed tub, and bless him he found one and had it beautifully refinished in my color choice.
I was truly disappointed when Link Corporation had relocated to Northern Calif.
as it is not easy to find a contractor who takes so much pride in his work.
The other contractors I has spoken to, told me the job would take three months at least, John completed the entire job in 30 days.
I saw wish he was still in Southern Calif, and everyone that sees the work he did for me, wishes he was here, so they too could hire him.

I have worked with John Olin on several houses and each one came out as promised. Link Corporation stands by its work. They only take on large projects so any reviews on pipes or repairs is in error. All work is listed on a contract and reviewed upon completion. The work is scheduled and always completed on time. They will work to make sure everything passes all city permits and inspections. I will continue working with John and Link as long as they are around.

I had a small issue with an income property which the renters were complaining about. John was able to bring in his team and resolve it within a matter of days. Top quality work, very cooperative owner, and all done at a modest price. I will definitely be contacting John again should the occasion arise.

I have only taken the time to write a handful of reviews over the past few years, either because of exceedingly terrible or fantastic experiences. I am happy to report that my experience with John is by far the best experience I have had with a contractor in my life.
John and his team do some serious work, and I was referred to him by a friend that had his house completely remodeled by John and his team. I had a small project, a remodel in our master bathroom where we wanted to include a Jacuzzi. I hadn’t worked with John yet so we had a few other people provide us with bids.
John stopped by after hours, he was there RIGHT when he said he would be. The bid he gave me cheaper than two of the bids but more expensive than one. When I asked him if he could do it for the lessor price, he explained why he wouldn’t, he said if it isn’t done right then he wouldn’t want to do it. He showed me the deficiency of the other contractors plan to get the job done, and actually saved my butt as the other contractor was not going to do the project to code.
John stopped by again with his framing people to have them take a look, again, this is a small project, and here he was for a second time making sure he could get the project done in the timeframe in which we needed it, and get it done right.
That weekend I went to look at indoor Jacuzzi tubs, to my surprise they were just as expensive as a nice outdoor tub but without all the nice fancy jets. So I called John and let him know I changed my mind. No problem. He offered to install the electrical for the Jacuzzi, which I had him do. His guys were there at 7:00 AM working on the line the next freaking day. They did a FANTASTIC job, they dug the line under concrete and installed two whole new breaker boxes, you can tell a job well done, all quality parts, metal pieces and fixtures. Well, I made another mistake. I told John I needed a 50A line installed when actually the Jacuzzi I purchased for outside needed a 60A. No problem. John was there the next day, took a look at it and said that they could switch it.
Here is a guy that remodels entire homes and works on giant projects, and here he is giving the little guy, with the little project the best customer service experience I have ever had from not only a contractor but any services provider in a long time.
He responds to texts quickly and usually (unless he is with a client) picks up his phone.
Suffice to say I will use John on ANY home improvement project we run into. Thanks John, you’re the best.

We had John and his team remodel our 1990 home and turn it into a 2014 masterpiece.
The scope of the work included the following:
1) New hardwood floors throughout
2) New kitchen, cabinets, countertops
3) Update bathrooms (new tubs, new shower, new vanities)
4) Build new walk-​in closet
4) Move walls and add doors to enhance the layout
5) Paint the interior of the house
We couldn’t have been happier with the work. He isn’t kidding when he says that he’s fast. The good news is fast doesn’t mean sacrificing quality. One tip for those who are considering using John is to make sure you have all your materials ready to go otherwise you end up delaying your own project.
We would definitely use him again for future projects.

We have used Link Corporation for two different remodels, and both experiences were exceptional. The first remodel was for a café in Downtown Palo Alto. The team worked from 6pm to 6am to remodel and repair our walls, floors, cabinetry, painting, electrical. They did a fantastic job and they finished ahead of schedule. Original estimate was 4 nights, but everything was accomplished in 3 nights. The second remodel was for a bathroom in our home. The house is 60 years old, with very old plumbing and electrical. They tore down the entire bathroom and rebuilt it from scratch. The finished product with the tiles, toilet, shower, closet, vanity, lighting was incredible. We took pictures throughout the stages of the remodel and could see the quality of the work. The remodel was completed right on schedule with no delays, at 17 days. More than anything, working with Link Corporation you get a personalized and professional approach to construction.

I just had my 1952 old kitchen remodled by Link Corp. with owner John Olin and his team. There were no out sourcing people brought in at any time. The old kitchen had to brought up to code with new wiring and plumbing and lighting and walls .John did everything he said he would do and was done in 22 days .In fact he came the day after we signed the contract. The kitchen is now up to date with the most modern appliances and we stayed in our budget too! Quite impressive I must say. Even the building Inspectors were impressed. Now that’s saying something. We had John do a prior project for us a year ago and he got five stars then too.
Would I have him again? You Bet I would ! And I am telling everyone I see.
John and his team went above and beyond the call of duty. They earned every cent and deserved my utmost respect.
