I noticed my tires seemed a lil flat while driving last night. My first thought was — they may have been punctured from driving over broken beer bottles some jerk left on the street at a meter.
I looked on Unilocal hoping there was a mobile tire service and to my surprise there was — score! :)
I called right away and spoke to Oscar and told him my situation about the broken glass. He was very helpful and quoted some great deals on used or new tire prices with installation, mounting and balancing.
He arrived the next morning on time in SF. He did a quick check and said they looked ok — but I asked if he could check all the tires to make sure.
Luckily I didn’t need new tires after all, so I asked for rotation and balancing. Within 30 minutes he called and said it was done. I came out to greet him and noticed there was a coat of tire dressing and slick shiny tires… now how’s that for service? I don’t think normal tire places even do that.
I thanked and gave him a tip — to which he offered a big discount the next time I use his services.

I was on my way home on a already bad Monday when I got a flat tire. I didn’t want to leave my car in a less than safe neighborhood. But it look like I had no other option. As I was walking home I passed by a tire shop with this company van outside of it it was about 7 o’clock all of the tire shops were closed. The gentleman that was operating the mobile Tire van was friendly and help me out completely and got me back on the road in 10 minutes. I would recommend this company to anybody. Thank you very much for your help.

One morning, I was traveling home on the 101. All of the sudden, I heard a hissing sound for a few seconds, then a pop, then a lot of flopping sound on the road. The car veered off a little, and my dashboard started blinking «low air pressure». I was surprised, because my Enclave only had 15k miles on it, and I drive pretty conservatively.
It turned out I had a huge gash on the outside of the right rear tire, and it popped on the freeway! I was very fortunate to have kept control of my vehicle, since my young son was in the back seat.
Just a few days ago, my employee gave me Oscar’s card. I called, and Oscar happened to be nearby. Within 5 minutes, his mobile tire van was right behind me off the freeway ramp. He examined the tire, and told me that he will help place the spare on so I could drive home.
«When am I going to get a new tire?» I asked. Oscar said he usually has some inventory of tires in his van, but since the Enclave requires a special size, it would need a special order.
«I’ll see you at your house in one hour to put in your new tire,» Oscar said. I was skeptical! One hour for special order tires???
Anyways, I drove home and went about my business…
Within the hour, Oscar pulled up behind my SUV at home, removed the spared, installed the brand-​new tire, and checked all tire pressures. It took him about 15 minutes, while I was inside painting my door.
And the entire time, Oscar was eager to help and very pleasant, even under the scorching sun. It’s pretty obvious he wants to do a good job for people.
I gave it a couple of weeks just to make sure the tire works great before giving a good review. It’s been perfect for 1 month!
I hope the SUV doesn’t need more tires soon. But if it does, I’ll call Oscar. And for my friends’ and family’s peace of mind, I’m telling them about K&G.

Whenever I need anything in regards to tires I go through K&G. They drive to me, and give me the best prices. I like to do my research before I make any purchase, and they have yet to find better prices elsewhere. Oscar provides quality service. I have all my friends and family go to him. Excellent and prompt service! I called KG Mobile Tires when I realized my two front tires on my mini van were so bald I could almost see the inside wiring of the tire! Oscar was very helpful and gave me a great price for two used tires (like brand new) to replace my front tires. He was able to meet later in the evening, 8pm, and came right to my house. I was really impressed with the van which is literally a tire shop on wheels and comes with everything. Overall really quick and easy experience and I would definitely use again in the future and recommend to friends. My Mini Van is happy too! :)
