Joseph R. Guess Household Repairs and Remodeling

Joseph R. Guess works as a handyman in the Palo Alto area. As far as I know, he does not advertise and gets all his business by word of mouth. He is one of these rare people who no matter what you give him, he never fails to impress. His work is high quality, and I’m always amazed by how quickly he gets everything done. I consider myself to be pretty good working on repairs and do-​it-​yourself projects around the house. I can do pretty much anything myself, but I don’t anymore because Joe can do it at least 4 times faster! … And better! This last time I had him over to my house to work on items from a list and accidentally gave him the whole list, including the items I just figured wouldn’t be what you’d normally ask a handyman to do. Joe asked me about those items just to make sure I wanted them done. When I told him I had accidentally given him the whole list, he mentioned he hasn’t found much he can’t do. So, I let him do the entire list, including work on marble, hardwood flooring, fixing kitchen cabinets, and painting. I can think of one negative … Since he is so good, he is always busy, and I sometimes end up waiting a couple of weeks, so he can fit me in his schedule. If you do give him a call and he tells you he can’t do it for a few weeks, believe me it is well worth getting the job done right!
