It’s the only hookah spot I know of in Palo Alto. I used to come here after work with my friend all the time until we noticed their service just kept getting worse. Like others have stated, the hookah gets harsh very quickly and the person changing coals takes forever to service you.
On the bright side, they serve great drinks; coffee, teas, mochas!

Terrible Service. Terrible Hookah. My friend almost lost an eye by the way they were handling the bowl. This demonstrates carelessness and poor customer service.
I would think 10 times before coming here. There are much better Hookah lounges out there in the Bay Area.

I’ve been to this place around 30 times.
The last 3 times I came here, the hookah became harsh within 30 minutes of smoking it. And within 50 minutes, it was unsmokable.
Service is lackluster and slow. You have to beg one of those young guys working there to come and service you. Some of them have the «i hate working here and don’t ask me for request» type of look.
I asked one idiot to fix my hookah which became harsh. He removes the head and violently starts shaking it. A piece of coal comes flying to my eyelid. My friend sitting next to me got a piece of coal on his cheek.
The guy superficially apologized.
Take it from someone who has smoked a lot. Find yourself another joint. None of the people work here are particularly warm or nice.
Why spend money on a sub-​par experience?
11÷7÷15 was the last time I spent money here.

Really good mango and white peach flavor. Service was really slow though. I ran out of coals about 6 times and everytime I needed new coals I had to get up and go to the employees for assistance. I mean, it was good stuff but c’mon, how hard is it to refresh coals? The guy was walking around with them most of the time but he never refreshed mine. Hmmm

Decent place. Ratings are unfairly low. Blue mist flavor is good. Gets kinda crowded, most Stanford kids. Dark ambiance and smoke filled. That’s pretty much it. Now leave me alone Unilocal

This place is hella sketchy. The only reasons to go here are because it’s the only hookah bar in the area and it opens early and stays open late. The hookahs themselves are janky (the kind you’d expect high schoolers to have and hide from their parents, not the kind a professional establishment would charge people to use). On a similar vein, everything is overpriced, from the hookah to the tea. Oh yeah, and you can’t order tap water.

Horrible rules, cant even sit in a normal booth when we have two people, uses a tiny small hookah. So not worth it when its more than $ 20. Empty place with more than 4 booths open.

Great hookah lounge. They are open later than any other from San Jose to burlingame. I’ve known the owner David for 10 years now and have frequented hookah nites both here and at it’s previous location downtown San Jose. Customer service is excellent and if you decide to visit make sure to try one of the house flavors. David makes his own hookah tobacco and they are superb! Mojito and mimosa are my favorite and taste just like the drinks they are named after! I love coming here with friends and just having a relaxing night, even during the week they are open pretty late which is perfect because I only have free time at night and most everywhere else is closed. If you’re a night owl like me or just looking for a cool hookah place to relax or enjoy with friends that isn’t dirty or so filled with smoke you can’t see then hookah nites is the place for you.

The service is really horrible. They are very rude and have so many BS rules. Try swinging hookah and smoke this in San Jose. The service at the other two places are really good and so are their hookahs.

Real nice atmosphere. Great selection of flavors, loved the double apple flavor. Only reason i’m giving this a 4 instead of a 5 is because they don’t sell alcohol. Service was friendly and helpful than most hookah bars. the Music that was on was chill, some new while others gave me a flashback. I could feel the vibe stay calm and cool. I would definitely recommend for anyone to come in a group if you wanna chat and catch up on life.

The reality: There are no hookah bars in the palo alto area. You have to work with what you got.
Hookah only review: This is good hookah. Period.
The size of the hookah does not matter, so people really need to stop being silly about how ‘small hookahs are bad hookahs’. Smaller hookahs are easier to maintain and manage, so I understand why they have small hookahs.
Service only review: Very good service, unless its busy. Now if its busy, and you need service, you need to be proactive. Go up and ask the server for help. If you do, they come immediately.
Other stuff review: Not a good food selection. I’m always bummed that theres no alcohol.
For these two things they lose a star.

Place is dingy, smelly and got the worst possible seats.
