Since 2007 neuropsychologist, Dr. Richard Abbey, has been providing assessment and intervention services to enrich the lives of children in Palo Alto. He started Gray Matters in 2014 by hand selecting toys to promote brain development for children and adults. Dr. Abbey is a licensed clinical neuropsychologist. He provides neuropsychological evaluations for infants, children, and adults. He is the director of neuropsychological services and is involved in every case in the clinic. His research focuses on learning disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and the neurocognitive effects of cancer treatments.
