The GNC is a little small, but it gets the job done. The aisles are well labeled for what they have. If you don’t see anyone over the counter, the bell attached to the door will surely alert them to your presence for assistance. I came in looking for some pure whey protein isolate. Sam over the counter helped me walk through what options they had and I got exactly what I wanted — a clean tasting product I can use in the gym without those sugars or extra additives. Very personable, Sam and I had a good 10 – 15 minute conversation of our typical habits, proper usage, etc. Seriously, 150g of protein sounds like overkill… Anyways, I left here feeling satisfied with my purchase and I appreciate the refund policy — I don’t like the taste, come back with receipt for full. I may not be the most heralded expert on protein powder usage, but if I can leave with my informed opinion intact plus gaining a little something extra, I think places like this GNC do wonders.

last week I bought an Hydroxycut™ SX-7 based on the recommendation from the sales rep, i used it for one week. after one week my heart started pounding so hard, that I wake me up in the middle of the night. I stopped using it, and called my dr. I am now wearing a monitor for few days to make sure no damage been done.

I have been using their products for years. I usually buy vitamins, protein, fat burner pills as well as pre– workout supplements. They have everything I’m looking for and the staff seems pretty knowledgeable.

Ok, so yesterday I purchased the All-in-one boxing kit for $ 29.99 from the San Bruno store. I was really excited to have located a kit since most of the GNC stores close to Burlingame had all sold out of the product and I recall seeing one set up on display at the Town & Country Village store location a few days ago. The staff member I spoke to back then told me all about the product and I thought to myself, ‘I’ll buy it another day.’ Ok, so back to yesterday. I bring the kit home and start to follow the instructions. Instruction #1. Fill base with water. So I take the time to fill this thing and then proceed to read instruction #2. Turn over and secure. What!!! How am I supposed to turn over a heavy base now?! Either I’m an idiot for reading the instructions one by one or whoever wrote the instructions is an idiot! Have to admit though, I am a bit of a spaz when it comes to following instructions — my mind ceases to stop working and I get all nervous, throwing my hands up in the air out of sheer frustration. You get the idea. So off I go to the Palo Alto location to meet the nice guy whom I spoke to over the phone(Ray I believe), and I ask him nicely to please set up this darn thing for me… since I broke the needle and let all the air out of the punching bag. Yes, I’m a complete spaz! By the time I got there, Ray had left but there was another really nice staff member there and I wish I’d taken his name because I wanted to give him kudos here. Anyway, he got it all set up for me in like, 3 minutes flat! Boy, did I feel useless! As for the product itself, I’ve only had it for 2 days but I think it’s a keeper. Boxing kit includes the punchbag, gloves and a jump rope. Not bad for $ 29.99!

good location inside town and country village, however, this one is a bit on the smaller side with a slimmer selection of product offerings. i was searching for a specific muscle pain relief cream, and unfortunately, they did not carry the brand i sought. however, they had plenty of other alternative muscle rubs and sports creams to choose from, all at very reasonable prices. staff is friendly and helpful and they’re open well past the closing time of most of the retailers in this shopping center.
