Elite Event: PreEaster Sunday Funday

This one was fabulous. Such a super late review but it’s better late than never guess. The place looked fantastic and there were plenty of chairs to sit at. The setting of the place was very relaxing since everyone was out in the patio area with plenty of sun light!
The photo booth had tons of props for people to use and it was Easter theme too!
From complementary champagne, mixed drinks and several bite size foodies was awesome! Yummy as always!!!
As always, met some new Unilocalers and will try to stay connected with them! :)

Easter came early this year with many mini surprises. I was fortunate to be Janet’s plus one guess for this wonderful Unilocal event. I have always loved Easter and the surprises it brings, this Easter theme Unilocal event was no exception. We came early, so I was one of the first Unilocaler’s to check into the event, as a result, I was rewarded the Instigator Badge, which was a great beginning to a amazing evening.
Walking into INDO restaurant, the location was remarkably familiar to me. It turns out this used to be the second location of Straits Restaurant. Nonetheless, I was pleased with the ambiance and the effort that went into preparing this event. The two complimentary drinks, which were both excellent, was a great token. The outside patio was lavish and trendy, and the touch of Easter throughout contributed nicely to the theme. I really enjoyed the photo booth and the assortment of Easter accessories to use for fun photos. The blow up Easter bunny was my favorite (get your mind out of the gutter).
The complimentary food was excellent, from the chicken satay to the rice croquet, and gave me a taste of the restaurant’s capable chef. The eggs throughout the venue were filled with mini surprises, from chocolates to Unilocal stickers. The staff was professional and very attentive with expedient food delivery and cleanup to keep the place in order. The champagne table was always full and easily accessible to thirsty Unilocalers, including myself. Unfortunately, we were unable to take advantage of the substantial discount for dining that night due to other obligations. We will definitely take advantage of the coupons that were provided for future use.
We often interact through the Unilocal application, but meeting Unilocalers in person is irreplaceable with electronic communication. I really enjoyed mingling with previously acquainted Unilocalers and some news one like Alan D. And Daniel N. It was a pleasure meeting you guys!

I was cuckoo for those coconut pudding cups! Man, they were oh so silky and orgasmic. I’ll be back to Indo for sure, just to try them again. (Not to mention those 20% off cards!) And I’m not ashamed to say this, but I downed three. Don’t judge! Cause girl, I definitely wasn’t judging half the glowing Asians that were there! Kudos to Unilocal for their seemingly endless supply of alcohol.
Yet another delicious lil’ sampling party organized by the lovely (Albeit a little under the weather, what a trooper!) Abby. This is my first Unilocal event of the year and I’m so glad to have started with this one! Despite not being particularly fond of Easter due to a terrible childhood memory (Don’t ask for details, but let’s just say one year, I lost my pants and the repercussions were unfortunately dramatizing) I am EXTREMELY fond of south east Asian fusion cuisine, which was why I just had to RSVP for this event.
Indo hits a perfect ten in every categorical sense: Beautiful layout and dining area, many, many attractive servers and waitresses (One of the gals was particularly gorgeous!), and most important of all, delicious food. Probably my favorite food location for any Unilocal event I’ve been to thus far. Some food highlights included the chicken satay (DELICIOUS! Crispy, juice, and tender all at the same time. Perfect entrée item here), quail egg tofu (I’m quail egg biased, but damn this was good), and of course, that coconut pudding (I could probably eat it everyday, ha!). And what is a

Sweet and very thoughtful Easter eggs with chocolates and Unilocal mini swags inside. Sooo cute! Had the chance to preview some of Indo’s awesome tasty treats like chicken satay, rice croquet, tofu and quail eggs. I’m a fan of everything!
The always awesome photo booth area was all decked out in Easter accessories! Pastels everywhere that night. From well dressed gentlemen to the nice looking ladies all decked out in their pastel beauty!
Met two newbie Unilocalers. One elite and one soon to be! Both funny as hell and adorable! Daniel N and Alan D! Oh yeah from them I managed a couple of Gin n Tonic:) Thanks guys! Even this drink was pretty good. It was a perfect blend of G&T! I’ll have it again!
