Cisco Linksys routers have turned in from good boxes two pieces of shit
I spent $ 250 for a router one year ago and I had to reset it to default settings and it went brain-​dead no way to revive it so I destroyed it with an ax with a bow and arrow and with fireI guess that void my warranty
I will never buy Cisco anything ever again I used to work for Cisco I know John Chambers I know John Chambers father they used to be customer centric and wanting to maintain marketshare through customer loyalty through quality products
This has changed and they are only after your dollar and they deliver you crap.
I am immediately went out and bought Netgear and it works flawlessly unlike my Linksys Cisco

My company purchased a Cisco 5000 series firewall 3 years ago. We suddenly began to lose Internet access on a few PCs. We learned that our firewall license only allowed 50 simultaneous connections. We ordered a new license from Cisco that would allow unlimited connections; however, it would take at least 7 business days to deliver that license — by email!
Two weeks pass, and there’s no sign of the license. After exerting some pressure on Cisco, it took 2-​and a-​half weeks to receive a license number by email. (We had to manually enter that license into the firewall; then authenticate it.)
Later I learned that I could have purchased the license from Amazon who would have delivered it in 2 days.
Think twice when ordering anything that requires support or service from Cisco.
