Argue? Don’t Talk? Feel Unheard? Criticized? Misunderstood? Taken for Granted? Don’t Have Sex or Not Intimate Anymore? An Affair?

Relationships should be the place we feel more secure.

If we feel mistrusted, unheard, unseen or misunderstood, then we feel sad, hurt, and angry. Then couples argue, withdraw, and blame. If only my partner would change, then everything would be fine.

Many couples go through this. But it doesn’t have to be like this. You just want to feel better and be happy.

We Offer:

*Marriage Counseling

*Couples Counseling

*Wrap-Around Couples Counseling

*Individual Counseling for Couples: When Your Mate Doesn’t Want Therapy

*Individual Relationship Counseling

*Pre-Marital Counseling

*Co-Founder Counseling

History

Established in 2007.

When you are looking for someone to talk to about your most personal problems as a couple, you want it to be the right person that can listen to both parties and not take one person’s side.

You will find that we are very involved in the process with you, teaching tools and skills. You need a therapist that doesn’t just sit back and let you talk to each other like you do at home.

We help you identify options and strategies that you might not have thought of. We bring a lot of personal, as well as professional, experience.

We’ve dealt with cancer, death, miscarriages, divorce, and career change. Our backgrounds helps us understand your life-changing events and the ensuing roller-coaster.

You have tried everything, and it still isn’t working. We can help.

See Couple’s Net, my blog on «Palo Alto Weekly»

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in couples counseling and have lived in and around Palo Alto since 1969. I worked in high-tech at Apple, Stanford University, and in Silicon Valley for 15 years before becoming a therapist. My background in high-tech is helpful in understanding local couples’ dynamics and the pressures of living here.

I am a wife, mom, sister, friend, author, and lifelong advocate for causes I believe in (such as marriage equality). My parents are both deceased. I like to hang out with my teenager he’ll have me. I enjoy reading, hiking, water fitness, watching movies, 49ers and Stanford football, and Giants baseball,. I love the beach and mountains; nature is my place of restoration.

I combine knowledge from many fields to bring you my best ideas, tips, tools and skills, to help you be your genuine self, find your own voice, and have a happy and healthy relationship.
