CCLC at Stanford West

As a single parent on a fixed income, I was a bit worried that I couldn’t afford the daycare so we started off as part time, and later switched to full-​time. I can not stress in words how grateful I am to have my 2 year son there ~ his knowledge is advancing rapidly each week and continues to progress in all areas.
My testimony: Before CCLC, I could «never» leave my son at any daycare. As soon as he would see the approaching daycare street, he would try to break free from his car seat. Since we started attending CCLC Stanford West in January 2014, he absolutely loves attending his new school, LOVES his teachers in the Garden Classroom (All of the kids and parents love Ms. Lauana and Ms Leilani like family members to pieces and back. I even hear great raves from prior parents at the parks that I have never met before~ all providing these teachers with the highest ranks), and I never have any problems dropping him off. When I pick him up — he is so happy to tell me all about his day — his nature walk and projects that the class has worked on. My 2 year old goes on and on and I love it… Makes me happy to know my lil man is in great hands while I’m at work all day.
Another testimony for those whom have kids who suffer with allergies: My son has really bad allergies and his teachers are so patient with him. There are days when the pollen is really bad outdoors and his nose is pouring all day. The teachers work with me to make my son comfortable as can be and clean.
I can go on and on about how much Jazz loves going to school. I really feel like Gardens class was a great fit. Wish Jazz could say with them all the way through. Being he’s turning 3 in two weeks, we’re moving into the Willows Classroom. I’ll miss his teachers.

I had the worst possible experience at CCLC Stanford West.
To begin with my child (close 2 yrs at the time of enrollment) took almost a month to adjust. And this is a baby who has been to daycares since she was 8months. She would cry the whole day and not eat. The teachers wouldn’t bother because they apparently have this self soothe philosophy… what rubbish she is 2 for god sakes.
What was worst was one evening she spiked a fever and they never even noticed although apparently she was dull. Over and above they dressed in her a jacket and cap and sent her out to play never once bother to even feel her temperature with their hands. The fever unfortunately spiked and she had seizures and was rushed to the hospital. The next day they act as if there never even was a problem.
It is not to say all CCLC is bad. We are now at CCLC Sunnyvale and we couldn’t be happier. It is nice to see a child being embraced and she wanting to go back to school even on a holiday.
