Frank was the best! We came in to set up two new lines on an existing account, and he was patient and helpful throughout the entire process. If you ever need help at ATT, ask for Frank!

I came in and pretty empty. I still need to wait for 10 mins. Guys are just free talking random stuff.

Don’t use this store. Lossy service. No one answers the phone even those sales people standing there doing nothing!!!

I walked in to go over my data plan and the guy dealing with me is Terrence.
He walked me over to a isolated desk and talked to me about data. Kept insisting I use my mobile app to check for my usage details.
Meanwhile the whole time he’s trying to brush me off, he was staring up a girls skirt. I wouldn’t make the comment but the guy was clearly not focused on my situation and looking clearly in the direction of her skirt.
He than tried asking me why I don’t use the app and I said listen I’m here to go over my data usage not to learn how to use the app. I confronted him saying why don’t you help me rather than look up a girls skirt. He got shocked or something because he was stunned. He defended himself by saying she’s a coworker and tried to make it seem Ok…
I walked out after being so shocked to see what I just saw. This store has got some serious problems and it needs to be dealt with if not by att which can probably care less, but maybe by the Santa Clara county police. I will make sure I report him as what i saw was unbelievable.

This is what happened. I used to have an iphone 4, which busted bc it is an iphone 4. I finally went in to get a new phone. That transaction took probably 30 mins and I was out. What you hope for. But then! I went home and tried to get info — especially all my music — from my old phone onto my new phone and it wouldnt transfer.
So I hauled both phones and my old and a new computer back to the store. I’m serious. Frank helped me again, and he got out both phones and both laptops, and he sat there with me for like two hours trying to help me transfer all my info. We even recruited his friend (Daniel?), also super helpful. Yes, I was probably there for two hours. But they solved my problem! They work on commission, you guys! There were families descending five deep ready to get matching family iphones. These guys don’t have to help you transfer music. They seriously went above and beyond the call of duty. Insane amount of patience.
I am the kind of person who likes to complain, but I have nothing but praise for Frank and his comrades. Bonus points for recognition of Big Tymers in my itunes library. GATOR BOOTS AND MY PIMPED OUT GUCCI SUIT. Thank you guys!!!

Since I already had a disappointing experience at the Mtn. View store and also read the reviews for the Palo Alto store, I was fretting about another unpleasant session. I saw very positive reviews about Chris so made an appointment with him, but Peter Luzama greeted me at the door.
Peter patiently and cheerfully helped this analog cave woman set up a new service and transfer data from the old phone to the new one — without sighing nor yawning once! I recommend that future visitors make an appointment with him in advance.

I have been a customer for many years and every time I come into this place they always find a way off ripping me off and I end up paying more on my monthly bill. I guess that’s what they are there for. I have a family share plan and 3 of those lines had unlimited data, somehow they managed to remove that even though i never agreed to it. But that is not all, last time I came in only to change my phone to another one because obviously phones now a days are garbage and break just by looking at it. They told me i had to pay an extra $ 50a month on top of everything I already pay because supposedly the phone had no data, bullshit but whatever now I’m stuck paying $ 360 a month for a family share plan of 4 lines. As soon as I can I’m moving to Verizon. Beware of this place. Horrible experience every time I come in, I actually hate having to come here.

Long wait times, terrible service. Employees standing around while customers wait an hour to be served is outrageous. Would give them zero stars if that were possible.

Worst encounter at AT&T ever! I went in to switch service from Sprint and thank god I didn’t. The service I received from their employees is horrible! I requested help from a Paulina she rolled her eyes and said she’d be right with me as if my question was bugging her! When she finally got around to helping me it was apparent she was irritable and less than enthused to help.
Stay away!

Is there a rule that the customer service reps (not the useless people that greet you and take your name) have to take a 10 min break between helping customers? With names waiting to be helped, a bunch of them are just hanging out behind the counter chatting and staring blankly at screens.
Finally, they start helping people again. Then with our name as the only name on the board left to be helped, we assumed the next rep to free up would help us. One rep finishes with his customer, and then another rep finishes with her customer, and still no one comes to help us. We let them know we only have 10 minutes before we’re late for dinner, and rather than pull one of the 3 – 4 service reps from milling around behind the counter, they just let us leave.
We have yet to be helped. Is it possible to give 0 stars?

I’m bagging people not to go with AT&T pleeeeaaasssss I’m pleading with you not to go with AT&T. At&t honestly is a rip off I’m pleading with people not to go with AT&T why becuase they still don’t offer unlimited data.
Every other phone company seems like they do now but AT&T doesn’t.
They claim to have one of the fastest internet speeds my I phone 6 internet is slowwwwwwww. I’m being honest it’s very slowwwwwww.
I’m still stuck in this garbage 2 year contract
And yah I can have some other phone company buy my contract and switch but I have one more year on this contract and I’m done.
I’m staying becuase I want them to be forced to give me credit for the 2 years.

Anouther major issue I had is that one AT&T employee told me my bill was 190 and so I told him I have only 170 at the moment so will I be ok if I just pay the 170 and will that next 20 dollars roll over to my next bill without being punished ?
And the AT&T employee told me yes you should be fine since you payed the majority of the amount on your bill and the assured me that everything will be fine your ok.
Next week AT&T shuts my phone off!!!
And tells me I’m punished and they won’t even allow me call AT&T from my iPhone

Then when I start to go back to try to get my phone back on they charge me a 40 dollar reactivation fee!!!
Wooooooooooooooow!!!
And they refuse to believe my story becuase I didint remember the persons name that helped me and told me this bad info !!!

It doesn’t make sense to wait 50 minutes to return a phone and activate a new one… although the customer service with Peter was good… but the wait times todayare insane and they need more help or better organization and prioritize their check in today was is in exception for poor customer service the only good customer service I got here was from Peter… and they can’t even spell jill correctly I am not Gil I am not Joe I am jill

The customer service here is beyond amazing! I specifically travel from Fremont just to upgrade my phone and service. Chris (store manager) is so patient with removing the dust from my phone when I upgraded this time around: P. The people here are great and would HIGHLY recommend to go here if you are upgrading or have needs with your services from AT&T.

I’d like to think I am a reasonably intelligent person. I have a PhD from a top university, and I generally have been able to learn and understand things, particularly if someone takes the time to explain it to me.
Its pretty consistent, however, that every time I want to do something with regard to my phone plan (e.g. purchase a new phone, consider changing service plans, etc.) I cannot understand things like «How much will it cost me?» «What, exactly are all the different fees for?» «Is there a better service plan for me and my family?» Basically, I’d like to know what my choices are, and a little bit about the pros/​cons of each — what I would consider normal things that any consumer would want to know before purchasing something.
But I can’t get clear answers here, and its not just one time. I guess AT&T just doesn’t want people to ask these questions and instead simply pay up without thinking. Unfortunately I’m not wired that way and so pretty much every time I engage with AT&T I am less happy after the interaction than before.
I guess its time to change carriers.

PSA: don’t call AT&T’s customer service on the beach. By the time you are finished you will have a very distinct cell-​phone shaped tan line on the side of your face.
If you find yourself in Palo Alto being forced to listen to AT&T’s low-​fidelity toll-​free jazz playlist, put that phone down you dingus! Visit this store. Assuming you don’t go during peak hours, you’ll have a much better time.
Unlike the dmv-​esque xfinity store next door, the staff members here come into work with a natural smile on their faces. They seem to enjoy their workplace and their colleagues, and it totally rubs off on the way they treat customers. They are benevolent, genuine, and infinitely patient.
A note about how this place functions: the staff here serve as an interface between regular people and a bloated customer support phone system. That means instead of you listening to toll-​free jazz, you will sit there with them as they do it for you. However, they are much better at navigating the system than you are, and are capable of achieving your goals with extreme efficiency. Yes, your service may seem to come along a little slowly, but more times than not they are still your fastest option. The blame for slow service doesn’t belong to the staff at this store — it’s a problem at the corporate AT&T level.
Special shout out to Ron and Stacey, who displayed big-​time grit and professionalism in matching me to a plan ;) You guys do a great job and your customers appreciate the work you do!

Blown away by the great service here, even with a packed lot and packed store. Chris was phenomenally friendly and helpful and Martha is great, too. Thanks for helping me switch to AT&T after decades with T-​mobile.

I have been to this store several times, and experience nothing but wonderful customer service. My regular Sales Representative, Claire is always friendly, happy and professional. Claire listens to what you are looking for, and offers options and suggestions. Claire consistently goes out of her way to ensure your needs are met, and leave with a positive experience.
If you are in the market for a new phone, upgrade or are looking for advice on any AT&T services, you will always be in great hands with Claire. :)

Should have read the reviews before coming here. They appear to be very bi-​polar, which probably means service here is very inconsistent. This review is one of the lower ones. Came here intending to switch my contract from another carrier. Was informed previously by an ATT rep at another corporate store that ATT was offering a cash incentive to leave contracts with other carriers. Found out that this store was not offering any such deals.
However, the main reason for the low stars are the following: 1) Although the store has a queue, we were skipped by someone behind us in the queue without any explanation. 2) The sale rep who spoke with us, Tigran, did not seem very motivated to make a sale or offer any service. Not sure if that was because business is so good at this store, or the internal structure of the store itself doesn’t offer more incentives to its reps.

Efficient and nice service.
I was kind of interested how my visit would go, because reviews here are very good, or really bad.
I visited this shop because I lost my phone and had to replace a device. I couldn’t do it online, so I needed to go to a shop. I gave my name at the entrance and less than 5 min, the worker came to me and very efficiently replace my phone. Also he suggested to change a better plan. It seems my visit was categorized as a very good side.
