Today was my first visit here. I really was not very impressed. I felt the vendors were not very friendly and their products not up to very high quality.

This flea market was a general disappointment. I am a huge flea market fan as both a shopper and a vendor and I won’t likely be back for either reason. First, the parking lot where it’s situated is literally a dump. You can see from the pictures posted here. There’s tons of trash everywhere and a bunch of old trash cans with still water. Looks like a mosquito breeding ground. Part of it is unpaved, so if you’re with someone who uses a walker or a wheelchair like I was, it’s a big pain in the ass. As far as the vendors go, many are rude and not helpful. Depends on the one I guess. Most of the stuff for sale is new, low quality consumer goods. It’s crap, really. Kitchen crap. Clothing crap. Accessories crap. All kinds of crap. The guy selling the pipes was the exception to the rule. He also sells this really nice shea butter and has a ton of funny signs at his booth. Nice guy. Overheard a terrible conversation at the knife booth. The guy selling knives instructing kids how to stab people. Yeah, that’s the world we live in. I was hoping there would be more people selling old or used items, but there weren’t many and the ones that were had a bunch of used crap. So I think next time I won’t bother, that is unless I’m looking for crap.

Still some good finds but it could be so much better. If the daily rent were lower, place were cleaned up and the fake items were removed this place could be a great flea market.

Go buy all the fake True Religions and Polo Shirts your heart desires… ;) I love this flea market. I buy everything from my detergent to my vegetable oil here. There are times you have people with stolen real clothes. Police stand guard here so don’t drive up smoking a ****(fellow Philadelphians) lol. Seriously, you can find everything. *Check dates on food and always buy from known vendors. There are alot of known vendors who previously had stores and they find it cheaper to sell items here etc. *Don’t be cute ladies… Wear flat full closed shoes… Too much dirt and gravel.

If you are looking to become a vendor at this market you might want to consider Berlin. The whole logistics in selling at this market is messed up. I remembered back in 2002 me and my friend waited in line at 3am just to get a spot. We got to the front of the line and the lady said«sorry we are sold out». We can make the next day«Sunday» even earlier and they lady said the same thing. What the heck? If it’s sold out why didn’t they just have a big sign that says so. Today the market is still sleazy. It’s dirty and the variety of food vendor sucks. Wait a min… What food vendor(s)?? LOL. When you get in there they give you a map expecting you to know where to setup. The numbers are gone and you can barely see the spray painted numbers and lines. Vendors? Humm… Let’s see. you have the vendors selling the bootleg CDs and DVDs. Cell phone vendors, dollar store vendors. The variety of vendors is hit or miss on days. This is a great market to shop but to sell I would not recommend.

i have sold here as well as bought here, it never ceases to amaze me the different kind of stuff you can find here, granted it’s a bit of a trip for me but it is worth it, love the place to death, even went here when it was a drive-in, glad they got the old WWI bombs outta there(i always knew they were there, just never went near them) great market, fair prices and just a pleasure to rummble around on a sunday morning

This is the dirtiest flea market I have ever visited. Will definitely not go back again. You had to wade through trash everywhere. Actually, is the fault of the town for not siting the owners to clean it up or close it down. This is across the street from a wildlife refuge and the trash blows over there and then into the Delaware River. Disgusting!

This is a go to place when trying to complete an outfit, or compare prices on your must have expensive name brand items. You must be a educated consumer because there are items that look faker than a $ 3 bill. I have gotten many quality name brand items here that I would have spent considerably more on if I purchased from the mall. If you have extra time on a Saturday, then this place is nothing but space and opportunity!

If you like a noisy crowded venue with tons of tacky Chinese made counterfeit knock-off wriswatches, cosmetics, handbags, shoes, designer labels and other ‘new-in-the-plastic-wrap’ stuff that just came off the boat in a shipping container, then this is the place for you! Some dealers selling out of date expired food and over the counter product also so be careful. Parking is horrendous the lot has potholes that can swallow a car, it’s like driving on the moon. The Berlin Farmers Mart just 15 miles further on down Rte 73 is a much better venue, albeit still a dive, but still a much better place to take in a walk on a sunny Sunday AM and look at the«fleas». Stay away from the food place bring your own from Burger King or McD up the street.

Cowtown is in serious jeopardy! Tacony is quickly becoming my preferred spot to pickup cheap essentials. Now I dont partake in the bootleg sneakers or clothes(ok, maybe the t shirts sometimes) but they have plenty of legit products at staggering prices. But before I cover those products let me introduce you to Tacony Flea Market… Over 100 vendors in an open parking lot it seems. Wear good shoes here bc the ground is not stable, alot of broken and uneven gravel. Youll find things like shoes, clothes, heath and beauty, hats, cd/dvds, toys, all kinds of electronics, even pantry foods. Some of the best deals I scored were thermal top and bottoms $ 8, Gillette body wash 3 for $ 5, white Ts 3 for $ 5, niccce«cashmere» scarfs 5 for $ 20, Flyers Hoodie $ 19, radio controlled helicopter $ 20, socks with designs and colors $ 1 or $ 2 each! Those are just a few items I practically stole. Theres definitely something for everyone here. Always best to get there early, they close at 4pm but start closing around 3. Open Sat and Sun.

This flea market is really great, other than the parking lot, it’s a really great flea market. I go here on occasion and get various fruits. They have a lot of great stuff to offer. I’ve actually purchased a few sleeveless shirts, jewelry, and shea butter. The atmosphere is nice, people are friendly and it has a nice flea market ambiance. It appears to have two portions, a section where there are tables and tints, then a section where people are out in the open etc.
