Smokin J’s is a family owned and operated business. We have been catering to the Tri-​State area since 2006. From upscale weddings and corporate events to backyard parties, we do it all!

We opened our first location in 2014 inside of the Park Tavern in Palmyra, NJ.

These guys catered my Daughter’s wedding. We selected Pulled Pork, Pulled Chicken, Ribs and Brisket, served buffet style. Also had smoked veggies, corn on the cob, smoked mac & cheese. The food was fantastic. the staff was wonderful and I highly recommend them both for food at their home base in Palmyra and also for catering. Great job Somkin’ J’s! THANKS!

Thought I found a BBQ close to home. I checked out their web site and looked over their menu.
The menu I was confronted with, was not the one on their site. The site says they have ribs but, I was told, they only have ribs whenever the owner feels like making ribs. It also says they have pulled pork but that also was missing from the menu.
All this place is, is a local hangout dive bar, where the locals go to get away from their wives.
I walked out and went down the street to Manny’s Sicilia Restorante where they DO have ribs on the menu and actually will cook them for you.

Smokin’ J’s the hands down the best BBQ in town, county, South Jersey! From the pulled pork fries, ribs to the buffalo chicken salad! Everything is amazing! And the service is great. Smokin’ J’s wife is always serving and cooking with a smile! Great place for the whole family!

excellent home made BBQ. This is a family run team and all of their food is top notch. Its in a small neighborhood bar and it is like eating at a freinds house. The hot sauces are out of sight too. The cole slaw is vinegar based and very good.

We love Smokin’ J’s BBQ! Jay catered our wedding this past June. Everyone said how amazing the food was and asked for his contact info for their own parties. And Jay was super helpful in advising us on what was best to do for our size party and what we would need to rent, etc. You really get the sense that he cares how your party goes much more than you would with a big chain. I would highly recommend him!
