Frog Creek Rv Campground

This place is a gem! Small, charming with a friendly staff. Lots of activities, superior amenities and many friendly residents. I stayed here for 10 weeks in the late summer and early fall. One of the best camping choices I have ever made. Pet friendly with rental canoes and kayaks. 5 minutes from I275 and 30 mins from St Pete and white sand beaches.

i found a deal online for a night at this campground plus 2 hours of canoeing for only $ 50, so i immediately bought it without knowing what to expect; but what a nice surprise. frog creek rv campground is — as its name clearly expounds — an rv campground off frog creek but they also accommodate tent campers like me and the germans.
the ladies who were at the main office and checked us in were both sweethearts. they went over the basics for our stay to be as comfortable as possible. the designated tent camping area is not large so you will more than likely have neighbors near by, and theres also a railroad near by so you may be woken up in the middle of the night as the train goes by unless you sleep like a bear.
theres a heated pool thats open from sunrise to sunset and theres a club house where you could play pool, air hockey or fooseball, and theres also a small tv in case you dont want to miss an episode of breaking bad.
canoeing on the frog creek was a nice experience too. the nice gentlemen who set us up gave us some advice on what to and what not to do while paddling. he was very humorous and helpful.
for the money paid, this was a great, great deal and im so lucky i got to stay a night at the frog creek rv campground!
