Time Warner Cable

Service has been in and out. Their commercial says they will be out and check your equipment and trouble shoot within 24 hours. I called Friday and they said they will be here Monday. Sorry but thats not 24 hrs. Then they tell me there hasn’t been an outage or anything and that they will
push updates to my router. First of all, if they did updates, they should of pushed it to the router themselves or notified me. I shouldn’t have to experience bad service and call and be on the phone with someone for 30 minutes. Before they fix anything. Then I get a call on Sat. From their quality assurance. He didn’t even read the notes on my situation, then he tells me there was an outage in my area on Friday and to check my internet. I expressed my feelings and told him either he or the person I talked to on Friday are lying and I don’t appreciate their lack of providing good service. Needless to say… I am NOT happy!

Time warner customer service? Customer service does not exist with time warner cable. This service provider does not care about their customers. I have been trying to get service here for 3 weeks, having to provide my SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER a total of 8 times over the phone with these ate up Customer service. They need better training and need to hire better people. TIME WARNER CABLE IS TRASH

I have to say, as much as I like to give TWC crap when things don’t work, they really came through today.
I have been having intermittent connection issues with Time Warner Cable Internet for a month and I finally called today. I spoke with customer service, they sent someone out within a couple of hours, and resolved the issue. Both the phone and in-​person support were professional and friendly and best of all, the problem is solved.
Thanks Time Warner!

Update: I am still waiting for my refund! I used the service for only one week. Equipment was returned at the end of November… no refund yet! I have fulfilled my end. They have not! I was suppossed to receive a full refund (30 day guarantee). This is $ 204.00 that I could be using for Christmas Time Warner! I was even contacted the day before they came for installation and asked to pay ahead of time!
I’m on hold right now. They want to give me $ 87.00 out of $ 204.00!!!
Beware people! They are playing games! There is no 30 day guarantee! Luckly I have my receipt proving I turned in my equipment on November 30. I WILL be following up! VERY WRONG!!! I will never trust this company again!

I switched to time warner cable internet based on the fact that they offered me a 300 $ gift card for switching providers. I have called them four times now and they have given me the run around every time! Not one person has been helpful and not one person has answers. Do no let them sell you based on this fact because they will do everything in their power to not honor their claims. It is absurd that I have an ad from them saying I will get a 300 $ gift card but I have to jump through hoops just for them to honor that. As for the service it is mediocre at best and customer service is absolutely terrible. Scam scam scam.

I must disagree with all this bad ratings. As soon as I walked in I was greeted great service. Had a customer representative named Rochelle and she was great. Gave me many option that would be good for my entertainment wasn’t pushy to upscale me. It was great she was very helpful and friendly. Second time I been here and not one of them were bad.

The service is great but really they charge you a whole dollar for a side of hot peppers wow not good I don’t think I’ll be coming back again now that the prices went up

Are 0 stars possible? We’ve been having issues with these people, (Not individuals, the company, as a whole), for a year now. My wife and I use our internet constantly, as she is a teacher, and I meet with people all over the country, from the «Convenience,» of my computer. Our internet cuts out, like we’re driving a Yugo on a snowy morning. It has Never stayed connected, with any sort of consistency.
Today’s call was the proverbial straw.
I talked to tech support, who told us both on their recording, and through their agent, Chloe, that they’ve been having issues with their modems cutting in and out, and don’t know the cause of the problem. I asked if they could send someone out, to fix the issue. She said, «No, because we don’t know the issue with the modem, so there is no fix, and giving me a new one, will only transfer the problem to a new, faulty modem.

I use «Go to Meeting,» with clients, who need song written for tv shows. There is an action sequence, they need a certain score to go with it. While I’m on these calls, with pretty important people, they regularly cut out, Really pissing them off. My client’s don’t have all day to screw around with me, because my ISP sucks!
I’ve changed to another offered though Verizon Wireless, which Works, and is saving my skin.
O.k, on to Billing, and the clincher!
I told them, I’m paying over $ 80.00 a month for an internet service that is broken. I asked teh nice lady, if it make sense to pay full price for a service which works about 40% of the time?
She offered me a one time, $ 20.00 discount, and to have a new modem sent to my house.
I re-​explained Everything, (Note taker here), Tech support just told me about their crap modems.
«Well, I’ll send you a new one anyway, and if you still have problems, you can call us back.»
So…I’ll continue to use a service that doesn’t work, by your own admission, until you send me another modem, which is faulty, by your own admission, pay Full price for a service, that for all intense and purpose is useless to me, and I’m going to give you a good survey. It’s like paying your mechanic full price for changing 2 of your spark plugs.
What a joke. I don’t know what to switch to, as no one seems to like their ISP, but ANYTHING has to at least work, and hopefully better than these mouth breathers can assure me.

I just canceled services. Will be free from these parasites. All I need is my Netflix and internet. They charge too much for the service. In the past I didn’t have a choice.

What can you expect from a company that completely farms-​out all of their tech work and business… nothing good! We called several times to change our internet service from verizon to time warner and we got the run around several times. They stated that couldn’t locate our home in their system and needed to send a tech to check out our location. Well we reside by Avenue K not the boondocks for God’s Sake!!! Anywho, we gave them several calls and several chances but no one ever came out, so we simply decided to keep Verizon, after all they are the fastest internet provider in town anyway.

Rude, overpriced, and they broke my tv even though they say they didnt! Charge to many late fees and never do payment arrangements. The channels are mediocre. I wish I didn’t need there service in my apartment.

Well I’m going to start by saying I think I would rather do without tv. I will make this review as simple as possible with getting my point across. One month ago we signed up with twc. The installer came, he hooked up the service and we paid him on the spot for the first month. One week later we get another bill saying we owe them another $ 13.45. I wondered why since we paid the installer for the first month already but I did not question it I just paid it. When the next bill came it said we still did not pay them the $ 13.45 (and we did) plus we owe them for the next month service. Well the bill came out to $ 151.00. First of all, I was told our monthly bill would be around $ 118.00 — $ 124.00 a month. I called T.W.C about it and they said there was rental fees for the boxes etc but we were never told this. Point being we were getting charged extra but was never told this from the start. I disconnected EVERYTHING and took it back to T.W.C. After I get to the counter they say i’m missing a part. I call BS on this because I returned everything that was here and I double checked before I went there to make sure I was not missing anything. So today we get a call telling us to return a part that we NEVER had ! You can come to your own conclusion on that. IF you get T.W.C installed please make sure you go over every single part that they say was installed ! The internet portion of the service… it only worked part of the time. As for the home phone, it worked all the time but the number must have been recently disconnected because all we got was telemarketing calls.

If you want to pay out a lot of money for crap service then this is your place. I have had a tech out to my house over 40 times and service still is horrible. Our cable boxes reboot by themselves. After a show ends or if you are watching a movie for more than 45 minutes the channel goes black and the box will reboot or sometimes freeze up. And you have to shut it off. Unplug it and reboot it. Interent constantly goes out for hours at a time. Especially at night service glitches and freezes and constantly tries to connect. Customer service is horrible. Constant calls mafe because our bills are wrong or they charged us double for things. People dont understand what you are saying and just say yes for everything or ok. Hate to say it but most of the people I have contact with are constantly apologizing because they dont understand my language. Sad but true. Check your bills everyone because when you have a detailed bill you will see that you are being ripped off.

So, today 01÷18÷15 I finally received a refund check from these crooks. When I paid, I paid $ 239.48 and yet they only refunded me $ 236.45. It appears that they have decided that some how they deserve $ 3.03 for jerking my chain. I am a man of principal and will chase till the end of earth for that $ 3.03 just to make a point to these corporate thugs.

The people behind the counter are as efficient as a screen door on a submarine. What a fricken joke they pause between customers and sit on their computers doing nothing. Been here for an hour and they are extremely inefficient walking away from the counter and doing nothing. A fucken worthless monopoly.

Time Warner cable for the money is the worst provider. For $ 110 a month with direct I get 4 tv hookups, two DVRs and great programming. My son, with TWC gets basic tv and no DVRs. The worst I have ever watched. He can’t change because of the area he lives in. Customer service is no help at all, even supervisor.

Thank you to TW repairman, Hector, for fixing the problems with our cable so that our TVs work again. He was professional and efficient. Nice to see after the treatment we received at TW on 10^th W.
We had to wait over 2 weeks for this appointment, so we’re very happy things are up and running again. Sad that Time Warner continually changes their service and inconveniences customers without caring one iota about us.
I would think if the CEO went on Undercover Boss he/​she would be mortified at the treatment he/​she would receive. Perhaps they’re not interested in that though. It appears to be all about the almighty dollar.
I would give Hector 5 stars, but TW overall a 1 cause they have to get at least one star. So the average is about 3. Still considering DirectTV or Dish.

I paid my last bill on July 2, 2014. I get a bill for around $ 274.00 because according to them I didn’t pay my last bill. After 3 calls to these idiots they admitted that it went to the wrong account. They then asked me to pay the $ 274.00. I told them NO!!! I went to my credit union and got a statement and took it to the office. The rude lady said they will modified my bill and maybe take the late fees out too. I told her why I had to pay late fees if I was never late in the first place.
Now I’m still waiting to see if they take all the fees out if not I will be reporting them to Better Business Bureau. They have bad business practices.
