PME provides resources for children and adults who have passions and deisres to become musicians. At PME, we position the opportunity for success in the direction of our students.

History

Established in 2012.

Mr. Sparks developed his music enrichment program while living and working in Nagoya City, Japan in 1993. Teaching music, while learning the Japanese language was an major effort on his part, however, he was able to provide a wealth of musical knowledge to the students that enrolled in his school there. Mr. Sparks studied Advanced Piano and was trained at the New England Conservatory of Music. He attended the University of Hartford (Hart School of Music) and Sound Masters Recording Engineering Institute. Mr. Sparks has played with (for) many major industry recording artists and have recorded and released several albums under the Totown Columbia Label in Japan. He’s in the Who’s Who in Music (1980 Gold Edition). Mr. Sparks is also a member of the Musician’s Union of Hollywood, CA (Local 47), BMI Songwriters Association, Songwriters Guild of America, Los Angeles Teacher’s Association, and American Federation of Musicians.

Business Owner

Jaythan Sparks began his journey in music at a young age. He was 7 when he discovered the beauty of music. It would take Jaythan 7 more years before he would truly understand the greatness of music and the ability to create compositions that would draw hearts to be filled with joy.

Jaythan was accepted into the New England Conservatory of Music in the mid 80′s and he was offered a music scholarship to the University if Hartford (Hart School of Music) under the direction of the late jazz saxophonist, Jackie McLean. It was there that Jaythan studied music composition and appreciation. Jaci Byard and Walter Bishop, Jr. played a great part of Jaythan’s journey through music.

Jaythan’s love for music and music education is what fueled his motivation to create and develop the Palmdale Music Enrichment Center & Music Academy.
