Palmcaster Rentals

Very horrible experience twice. First let me preface this by saying the guys who handle giving you the equipment and taking it back are the real rock stars of this business! They were super awesome in explaining the the tools and any equipment and I wish they were the only thing I could base this review on. The equipment performed flawlessly and was great! The one star comes from the lady at the counter.
She alone being the first you see and the last made this the worst retail type experience I have ever had. From the phone calls calling for pricing she did nothing but cut attitude and just seemed bent on not trying to get my business. She was even worse in person and upon return all things went to hell. She was too busy telling me how to unload a set of ramps off my car she lost a potential sale from my neighbor who drove my equipment in. She ignored her inquires and scared her away. Worst experience!
I am sorry I can’t convey how bad it was. Let me just say I do need another rental but more importantly I need to find a new company I will never go here again! Renter beware this place was not user friendly. I will not give them my business again!

Found MUCH better prices elsewhere and there equipment is in poor to average shape, and the sales person in downright RUDE, CONDESCENDING and seems not to give a shit about customer service or her job. Went in to rent a trailer, she was on the computer, and acted like I was interrupting her wanting to rent a trailer. Had a couple of other problems there. It turns out UHAUL on Sierra Hwy has superior, service, equipment and prices, for other things I found Home Depot in Palmdale has superior prices on other things. All I can say is this RUDE lady made me shop around and found out how bad this place really is! «YOU BETTER SHOP AROUND» «YOU BETTER SHOP AROUND»

Slightly disappointed that the tables we got were already dirty… I mean I know other customers are rude & don’t return items properly but why do I have to have a dirty product because of it? This is the ONLY reason I didn’t give them the last star.
Meh… Overall I got a decent price for the tables ($ 6 each) and chairs were good too ($ 0.55 each).
They got 4 stars for price & for being flexible with when we turned our table/​chairs back in!
I’d recommend to others & I’ll go back again.

Trailors are in very poor shape. We had to change trailors several times before we got one with working lights. Was told by the lady in the office that we can’t expect everything to work properly every time. Very bad attitude and bad business

This place has good prices, just remember to ask the if there is any additional or hiding fees. Rented a tractor was told $ 235 with trailer, was never advised you could only use it 8 hours. Had I known this I would have not taking my 4 year old for a ride. The 8 hour limit should have been discussed up front. Because of this, I was told I owed $ 188 more. They did being down by 50%, but I felt ripped off because I was never advised of the time limit. I was going to rent additional equipment but now I will not as I feel they scammed me.

We always use Palmcaster Rentals when we do banquet dinners at our tiny café. I really have appreciated the great customer service that we have received from Palmcaster Rentals, they have stayed open for us a couple of times when my husband was running late and couldnt get off work. I love that about a business! Also, their prices are VERY affordable. They do an amazing job and they load and unload the car for us. I highly recommend Palmcaster Rentals for your party needs. They also rent Uhauls for your moving needs. Great place!!! Glad to have them in the AV!
