We have used Judy Howard for over 12 years! She is wonderful and so knowledgeable. She is an expert when it comes to taxes with firefighter families. I’m not sure why she would have a negative review, because she has been amazing for our family. Yes, her expertise does not come free, but it is SO worth it.

Don’t pay attention to angry people looking for someone to take their frustrations out on. Judy is extreamily knowledgable, hard working and thourough. I am going to keep using her for my tax preparations for a long as I can.

My husband & I have been going to Judy Howard at Hewitt for the last 3 years and have been given the run around each year. The term you get what you pay for is not always correct when it’s almost $ 400, and you get crap for service. Well today was the winner, I called in to pay for my tax prep fee. (The day we had our phone appt. we had just found out our bank acct was compromised and our cards were frozen) mind you I had already emailed Judy like she advised me to do when I was ready to pay and of course no response. I was advised by the office staff the fee this year was higher than last and the previous years. I told her I was never made aware and I literally do all the work? Whatever, just file them and I’m taking my business elsewhere next year. She said I’ll let Judy know you paid and also your dissatisfaction. I said please because maybe she will acknowledge there’s always some problem. Less than 10 mins later, Judy calls me and decides to try and rip me a new one. She was beyond classless and unprofessional. She was on the defense. She said you have a problem with me and I said I have a problem with the way you conduct your business and while I was trying to explain what the problems were, she kept cutting me off. I asked her can I please speak so you can get a better understanding of what the problems are. Common sense, if you shut up maybe you would get an idea of what’s going on that has your customer so disappointed! She would pause to try and listen and then she cut me off again. Then she accused me of never paying, I was beyond irate at this point, only later to have her office manager verify that statement was incorrect. I paid at the conclusion of every phone appointment. LIAR! Then she proceeded to tell me to «pay attention to what she was saying, because I seem to have a hard time following directions» Are you joking? I had such a hard time trying to open my tax documents last year because your wonderful office staff coded the CD incorrectly and had to send out another one, and it took weeks to get because she wouldn’t respond and the office staff wouldn’t help. Before we hung up she said I’m not going to schedule you next year, now look, it wouldn’t take a genius to figure that I refuse to do business with you ever again, or does it? Hmmm…
Beware of Judy Howard, she is the epitome of a nightmare! Perfect example of Jekyll & Hyde personality.

DO NOT PATRONIZE. Charged $ 50.00 for copy of tax return. When asked if they could e-​mail to me at no charge, stated it was his wife’s policy. REALLY. Mr. Hewitt, I hope someone else is a little more understanding if you run into a problem.
