Meet the Business Owner

Dr. Craig H.

Business Owner

Dr. Craig J. Helm obtained his bachelor of science degree in biochemistry from UCLA. Dr. Helm went on to pursue his medical education at the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, where, based on academic achievement, he was selected into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Afterwards, Dr. Helm completed residency training in ophthalmology at the prestigious UCLA/​Jules Stein Eye Institute. He continued fellowship training at UCLA in cornea and refractive surgery and uveitis.

During his fellowship he was honored to be selected as a Heed Fellow. After completing fellowship training, Dr. Helm served in the United States Air Force at the Portsmouth Naval Medical Center for three years. While in Virginia, Dr. Helm was an active faculty member at the Eastern Virginia Medical School Department of Ophthalmology. In 2001, Dr. Helm moved to Santa Clarita to establish a première practice, excelling in delivering university-​level care in a new state of the art setting.
