Where we raise quality AKC registered miniature dachshund puppies.

They come pre-​spoiled raised in our home under our watchful care.

Established in 1999.

Hi, our names are Dave & Cathy. We live on an 8 ½ acre horse ranch in Leona Valley California with plenty of fresh air and sunshine. We live here with our children, dogs, three cats and several horses. Our puppies are born in our house under our watchful care so we can help bring them into the world and they stay in the house with us until they are old enough to go to their new homes at 8 weeks of age. We spend a lot of time every day playing with them and holding them (they like to snuggle when we watch TV). Some of our dogs live in our house with us and sleep on our bed with us at night. Whether they live in our house, or out on the ranch in their doggy «houses,» they are all part of our family and are very happy little dogs. We take them for walks, or they play in their doggy yards with their furry friends. Some just like to lie around soaking up the sunshine or having their tummies rubbed. When we viewed all the photos of puppies raised at Full Circle Dachshund, we knew a trip to Palmdale was on our agenda before making a decision as to add a future pup to our family. I made contact with Cathy, the owner-​breeder, and was told we were welcome to come. It was a long drive and also required an over night stay, but we left knowing this is a quality Kennel were the dogs are well cared for and happy. Cathy invited us into her home where we sat and talked before she brought several dogs in to visit. She was able to accommodate all of our requests and presented us with a beautiful cream colored long hair mini we named Cara Mia, several months later. In light of the negative review posted a few days ago, I want to add that Cathy always answered my texts and was easy to easy to deal with, both before and after we brought home our puppy. In fact, I am in awe of her ability to accomplish all that she does on a working ranch each day. Beautiful Dachshunds come from Full Circle and are raised by a hard working and devoted lady.

We found Cathy’s website on the internet two years, and we’re so thankful we did. We now have two sweet miniature long-​haired dachshunds from Full Circle Ranch. They are wonderful dogs with the best dispositions. So lovable. We highly recommend Cathy and Full Circle Ranch.

We found Cathy through our friends that have 2 Full Circle Doxie’s & they were the most adorable little dogs. I had never had a small dog before, but these little dachshunds were too darn cute. Fast forward, Dec. 2014 we picked up our little black & tan long haired girl. She is a spit fire! The most doggie dog we’ve ever had. She is smart, super active, HUGE personality & adorable. We live hours away from Cathy, so Cathy would send us updates on our girl with pictures. When we picked up our girl, Cathy had the flu so her husband helped us. Couldn’t have been nicer. The whole transaction was great. There is no doubt we’ll be getting another Full Circle Doxie. Great dogs, great people.

Okey so I brought Oliver home two years ago and what a blessing. I have had dachshund before (3) and so when I decided to get a dog well it could only be a dachshund. I searched the internet for breeders and asked around and finally found Cathy and Full Circle Ranch. I can’t say anymore about Cathy that hasn’t already been said, she is a wonderful person who cares for those little guys and gals.
When Cathy brought Oliver in to meet me he was the happiest puppy I’ve ever seen. Although he was almost 16 weeks he was so tiny and lovable, took to walking on a leash and using the doggy door, thanks Cathy for the pre training
One day I want to get Oliver a buddy but right now he has two cats 14 and 17 years old for company.
If you are a dachshund lover or want to get your first dachshund go see Kathy at Full Circle Ranch. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

I purchased my first puppy (Clark) from Cathy in April 2013… so this review is a bit late. I was hesitant about putting a deposit ($ 200) down for a dog i had only seen online. I called Cathy and she was super friendly and walked me through the whole process, which put me at ease. She answered all of my many emails almost instantaneously and sent updated photos anytime i requested. She is very professional and really knows what she is doing when it comes to raising/​breeding puppies. Not only is she amazing but her dogs… PERFECTION! Clark is happy and healthy with the sweetest demeanor ever. I get compliments wherever i go about his coat and personality! Thank you Cathy for my little baby Clark I can’t imagine my life without him. :)

I am very remiss in writing this review. I should have written it years ago, but I did not know about Unilocal.My dog Casey is now 5 years old. He is a wonderful dog and obviously was aided by Cathy’s careful breeding and puppy nurturing. He has been featured in four national Dachshund calendars (sold at Petco, Petsmart and other pet shops), two appointment books, and the national Dachshund Magazine. He is extremely smart, and excelled in his obedience classes. He is a great friend and companion. He goes to work with me every day. I recommend this breeder with my very best compliments. Very nice people and great dogs. I should add that this picture was taken by Sharon Eide who is the best dog photographer in the world.

We are so happy with our Gretchen! We heard about Full Circle Dachshund from our pet sitter here in Tehachapi. We were thinking about adding another Dachshund to our family, so we were doing some research on local breeders. Full Circle’s website had a lot of good information and pictures. Once I contacted Cathy, I was sure she was the breeder that we would buy our new pup from. She raises her dogs as family and I really liked that. Gretchen is a black and tan long hair and is 4 months old now. She is very social and very smart. She gets along great with our 10 year old, short hair red dachshund, Penny. If we were ever going to add another dachshund to our family we would go strait to Full Circle Dachshund.

We purchased our dapple piebald Dachsund (named Lola) from Cathy at Full Circle Ranch as a 2011 Christmas present from Santa. Cathy made the experience extremely smooth and accommodating which was really helpful given that this was our first family dog. She took the time to talk us through the instructions, provide a bag of starter food, and really make the handover smooth. She also ensured Lola was prepared to leave her litter by ensuring she was the proper weight, performing de-​worming, and clipping Lola’s nails.
The ranch is a family operation and is nestled in the beautiful Leona Valley (west of Palmdale) amongst the cherry tree orchards (which is where we usually go with the family each May to have the kids pick cherries). During the pickup, we saw all the other Dachsunds that Cathy was raising and it was apparent that the dogs were treated very well and were happy. The Full Circle Ranch has about 8 acres for the dogs to stretch their legs when outside their kennel. Cathy also introduced us to Lola’s parents who were beautiful dogs with great dispositions. And, we also got to meet Lola’s entire sibling litter!
I would highly recommend the Full Circle Ranch if you’re in the market for a new Dachsund. Cathy is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and shows a genuine love for each dog that she breeds.

Six years ago we decided to look for a new family dog; my husband and I both grew up with dachshunds, so we wanted that for our kids. We found just the puppy were were looking for at Full Circle Ranch, a beautiful long haired, black and tan dapple we named Max. We live in the San Francisco Bay area, so Cathy agreed to meet us half way, in San Luis Obispo. Little Max was absolutely beautiful and adorable. He quickly became a loved member of our family, and now 6 years later, has developed into a fine looking, handsome dog, with all the dachshund characteristics of being playful, clownish, protective, and intelligent. He was supposed to be a miniature dachshund, as his parents were, but developed into a 21 pound regular sized dachshund (he was one of 2 in the litter that didn’t stay mini). Frankly, with his personality, his full size suits him well! I’m a big fan of dachshund «conformation,» the standards and measurements (great paws, long nose, long ears) that mark the breed, so I frequently look at Max and tell him what a handsome fellow he is, ha ha. He’s a great family dog, and we’re so glad we found Full Circle Ranch!
