Palm Springs resident Jarrod Sipe brings his passion to deliver unparalleled customer service and exceeding client expectations to the hair salon and day spa industry.

«Palm Springs has been the center for wellness on the West Coast since the 1950’s. I wanted to be a part of the renaissance of Palm Springs with full service salon and spa for locals and visitors alike,» says Jarrod.

In 2009, Jarrod relocated to Palm Springs with the dream of re-​inventing the salon and spa experience. Today this dream has become a reality. Studio M Salon and Spa creates a personalized service and offers genuine caring that is the foundation for Jarrod, the staff and, of course, every customer.

Simply amazing. by far the best salon in the desert and one of the best I’ve been to anywhere. From Nicole giving me a superb haircut to the fun and fantastic Natalie, Kim, and Tram Ton in the nail salon, this place sets the bar for excellence. It’s great for us «city folk» to have a modern and stylish place to get done up when we come to Palm Springs. A+!

JJ is an excellent hairdresser. He knew exactly what I wanted. My hair turned out great. I defiantly recommend him and the salon. Everyone was so nice. I was also able to book my apt within a days notice.

Studio M deserves 6 stars!.. And here’s why.
I have had my fair share of horror stories when dealing with salons and stylists. Being said, I was more than just skeptical about trying somewhere new.
I booked my appt at Studio M 3 days prior to Valentines day. I arrived 10 mins before my appt. I was promptly greeted by ALEX at the receptionist desk. She warmly smiled and quickly checked me in, she proceeded to offer me a variety of beverages. I sat comfortably enjoying a cold glass of champagne in the gorgeous waiting room. Oolala!
The whole staff was bubbly and welcoming, obviously they love their jobs. Within 5 mins ALEX came and escorted me to her styling station. I was immediately comfortable with her. I described an idea of what I wanted done and she listened intensely and was very enthusiastic. (not something I have seen before in a hair stylist). She placed a mask on my hair while I was in the shampooing room that restored my hair almost instantly.
I was in ALEX’s chair for about an hour and a half. The whole time we gabbed like old friends. She was so easy to talk too. She even gave great advice on how to prevent hair damage, and how to minimize the usage of hot tools. She recommended a few products she used on my hair during my appt. without being pushy to sell them to me.
ALEX trimmed, thinned, repaired, volumized, and styled my hair with great skill. She even took me on a tour of the salon. I had no idea the amount of services Studio M provides! Massages, facials, nails, professional makeup, and umpteen others. Your beauty desires start and end at Studio M. ALEX is extremely talented and gave me impeccable customer service.

So happy I found this Salon. Being stationed about an hour from here in Twentynine Palms, I was looking for a great salon that provided me salon and spa services. Studio M has a great atmosphere, professional staff, and no matter what you will leave here feeling like a million bucks. I get my hair done by Nicole, she is easily the best hair stylist I’ve ever had! She does amazing color, and she is also very considerate of your day to day routine, basically she isn’t going to push you into anything that you don’t want or you can’t maintain. I truly look forward to seeing her, because I absolutely trust that my hair is going to come out great. I have also used their waxing and facial services within their Spa. Both Julia and Michelle are wonderful, and make the entire waxing experience as painless as possible. The facial I did with Julia was amazing, I would recommend to anyone who struggles with their skin being subjected to the dry environment in this area. Overall, you can go to this salon knowing that you will be taken care of. I find the prices reasonable based off the services, quality and experience of the staff. You’ll find places in this area that are more expensive and less expensive, I would say this salon and the results you get are worth every penny! I have been going to Nicole to get my hair done for the last year here at Studio M. I came in with a request to cut my maintence down but still have great hair. Prior to this I was a slave to every 4 week highlights with a previous hair dresser. Nicole not only kept me a blonde but she cut down my highlight and grey coverage maintence to every 3 months. Not only that but I love my hair more than ever. I couldn’t be happier. The salon itself is clean, cute and comfortable– they have the coolest hair dryers! They offer many other services I haven’t tried yet but plan to. The staff constantly trains and keeps up with the current trends so I feel like I am in good hands. I rarely go out of my way to review a place but Nicole and Studio M are worth the Unilocal

I absolutely LOVE coming here. I get my hair and nails done regularly. Nicole is the best! She always listens to what I need to get done and is so helpful and trustworthy when it comes to suggestions. I would totally trust her with my hair. She is extremely patient and so friendly it’s like visiting my girlfriend for a chat everytime I see her. The whole salon is super friendly. Everyone knows you and greets you warmly. As soon as you walk in your are offered wine, champagne or coffee. Last month I had to attend the Palm Springs Gala and Obviously Nicole did the BEST hairdo and Makeup I was so happy and looked like a complete star! I also get my nails done from Natalie. The best part about getting your nails done here is that you don’t have to wait in line like other salons to get them done. Just make an appointment, walk in and enjoy the spa experience! Natalie is always so warm and friendly and loves to try new nail colors on me. She is extremely patient and takes her time. She is so easy to talk to and I’m so happy to get along with her. No disappointments at all! Whenever I get my nails done there, I am always so pleased. I live in Palm Desert and drive out to Palm Springs for the whole experience. Visiting Salon M and Spa is like visiting my girlfriends house, except that I get pampered and walk out feeling beautiful! I am moving away soon but so sad to leave them as I have never found a salon that I am 100% happy with until I found them. Friendly staff, excellent service. No regrets!

I’m so glad I decided to go into Studio M. Everyone there is warm and friendly. Jaisen rocks! I have crazy long curly hair, which Was in need of a good trim all over and color. Jaisen knew what to do in order to make it look better. The color is perfect and so is the cut. What really impressed me was that Jaisen didn’t over do it or under do it. Very professional. I Will be a regular customer for sure! Thanks Jaisen!

Jaisen Brown fixed my f@#kd up hair, corrected my color, and gave me unbelievable natural looking results. I get tons of compliments all the time, and people can’t believe I have color in my hair. I will never go to any one else. I hope he never retires. I will follow him to any salon he moves to. Studio M is awesome, a full service salon with outstanding customer service. The champagne with the service is a touch of class above the rest. He even got me on a skin care regimen that fits my lifestyle and doesn’t break the bank.

I had a terrible experience at this salon.
I asked for low lights instead I was experimented on and my roots were dyed blonde again and a bilolage was applied to my top hairs. I am now gray platinum and yellow orange. I cried.

‘Twas the day after Christmas and what are we girls to do? Nails! Nails! Nails! 1 grandma, 2 daughters and 2 granddaughters went to Studio M! We were in one room with 2 wonderful nail techs… NATALIE AND DANA!!! Everyone got mani and pedis… rotating around! Great atmosphere! Great polish line! Great service with a smile… working our whole fun happy group of girls!!! It was PERFECTION!!! Sealing the deal… wine, champagne and water!

Go in for the organic wax I always ask for Natalie because she is very gentle and takes good care of you (making sure you don’t have a botched wax job) she always has positive energy and knows how to make you feel comfortable; in fact every employee there is attentive and helpful I’m very comfortable with this salon my only thing is I wish the prices would just be a tad be more reasonable it’s my ONLY REASON FOR THE FOUR STAR. This establishment is always clean; PLUS for you animal lovers theres an adorable lap dog that lays with you while you wait to be seen (makes me feel at home, I love it!) I still recommend this place because of their costumer service and their good product it helps to have a good esthetician like Natalie!!!

We were goimg to an early Halloween party, had nails, hair and makeup done at this salon late afternoon. I was going to be princess Leia, I don’t know how to do hair buns, and was too lazy to do my own makeup, so I had the stylist do everything for me. It was fun!
Free champagne upon arrival, the staffs were very friendly. Hubby had mani & pedi services as well, I had the same plus gel on both nails and toes. Our nail techs were very professional, did very detailed works, we were satisfied.
My stylist did a very cute bun on me, never thought I’d look lovely with a bun? For makeup, she did some contour on my face to enhance my face features, very good job, made my fat face to appear a bit smaller… I was happy!
A very professional salon, I would definitely come here again!

The massage I had was amazing. I came in during my wedding week, and I was put at complete comfort with a 90 minute swedish massage. I felt refreshed afterwards.
I also had a pedicure and gel manicure at Studio M. My nails were gorgeous. They were described as pink pearls within a little gold treasure box (I had shell colored nails with a gold accent finger.) I was treated well and was given a glass of champagne to enjoy myself.
So why the 3 Stars? I was told that my manicure will last for at least 2 weeks if not more. I started to notice that they were chipping the day after the wedding with the gel on the thumb coming completely off. It’s been a little over 2 weeks now and I can say that most of the gel polish is off. I’m pretty disappointed with that and how much it costs. Great service, but the product isn’t the best.

Anyway, I got a mani and pedi done by Dana. I was lucky to get her because I was a walk in. She is so sweet and did great work. She took her time and I can tell she takes pride in her work. This place is not your usual assembly line salon. It’s an upscale salon so be prepared to dish out double than what you normally pay.
