Manager

Marissa Maldonado is the Director of Business Development & Marketing at Sovereign Health. Marissa has a strong background in both the business and psychology fields and has been an important player in the Southern California behavioral healthcare scene. Marissa received her Bachelor’s in Psychology from San Francisco State University and her Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Redlands. Before joining Sovereign’s team, Marissa was the Team Leader of Admissions for the respected Betty Ford Center and the Intake and Outreach Manager for National Therapeutic Services in Newport Beach. Marissa’s wide range of experience in business side of mental health services and her consistently positive and affable demeanor make her an extremely valued member of the Sovereign Health team.
